Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organization’s success.\nSummary of the Job:\nThis role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Closing Team. The role will assist the manager of the department in planning, prioritizing, monitoring, and reporting of the work and act as an escalation point for complex files and production system issues. The SME will provide system testing for new software platform releases to ensure compliance and workflow efficiency.About This Role:\nPipeline & Report Management\nManage and review daily operational reports including the daily assignment queues to ensure files are fairly assigned when accounting for complexity.\nEnsure team resources are allocated effectively to complete day-to-day functions and meet business needs.\nEscalation & Operational Resource\nServe as the first point of contact for complex closing issues. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of policies and procedures to be an operational resource. Adhere to policies/procedures and consult with management on high-risk situations.\nPerform second-level reviews of Closing Disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nProvide production backup for the closing desk as needed to maintain capacity. Periodically pull work within Closing to ensure you understand the process and any pain points the team encounters with processes. Close employee mortgage loans.\nServe as a department resource regarding regulatory compliance.\nSystem & Process Improvement\nSystem testing for Encompass platform releases and troubleshoot technical production issues.\nAssist in the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements. Report all results and roadblocks and work toward resolving roadblocks.\nProvide recommendations regarding continuous process improvements. Manage all updates to procedure manual.\nLeadership & Partnership\nManage team PTO coverage and delegate files to ensure continuous pipeline coverage.\nPartners with the Disclosure Desk lead to ensure they can back-up that role.\nComplete projects assigned by management in a timely manner; represent the team in any meetings as requested.\nExhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships internally and externally. Complete all required training in a timely manner and report any compliance issues and violations in accordance with FNBO guidelines.\nKey Skills\nAdaptability: Recognizes and is open to changing circumstances and alters behavior as necessary.\nAccountability: Takes ownership for decisions and results of work within the scope of one's role.\nCritical Thinking: Analyzes and synthesizes information using a rational and systematic approach.\nFunctional Capability: Possesses functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform at a high level.\nTime Management: Actively controls and structures use of time to meet strict regulatory and closing deadlines.\nAttention to Detail: Demonstrates a concern for accuracy so that detailed information is logged correctly.\nThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:\nRequired:\nHS Diploma.\n3-5 years of mortgage disclosure and closing experience.\nExcellent working knowledge of the Encompass loan origination system and mortgage regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA).\nExcellent communication and technical troubleshooting.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis on Excel.\nDesired:\nAssociates or Bachelors degree.\nPhysical Demands\nStandard office environment requirements including prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.\nCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:\nCompensation range (base pay): $47,613.00-$78,560.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.\nFinal compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.\nWork Environment:\nIt is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
