Shape the Future of Employee Relations within FNZ

FNZ is seeking an Employee Relations Transformation Lead to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the implementation of one of the most significant UK employment law transformation programmes in recent years. As legislation evolves and new employment rights are introduced across 2026 and 2027, you'll play a critical role in ensuring FNZ remains compliant, operationally ready, and positioned for success.

You'll work at the heart of a major organisational change programme, translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical people frameworks, governance controls, operating models, and manager capability initiatives across FNZ's UK operations.

Working closely with Legal, Employee Relations, Payroll, HR Systems, People Operations, Learning & Development and senior business leaders, you'll help shape how FNZ responds to a rapidly changing employment landscape while protecting the organisation from legal, regulatory, reputational and employee relations risk.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional Employee Relations role.

You'll lead and influence large-scale people transformation activity, partnering across the business to deliver legislative change programmes that impact policies, employee relations frameworks, governance structures, payroll processes, manager capability, employee communications and operational readiness.

The role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on FNZ's UK People landscape while working within a high-growth global FinTech organisation.

  • Drive implementation of employment law reforms across multiple people and operational workstreams
  • Partner with Legal, Employee Relations and senior stakeholders to assess legislative developments and implementation requirements
  • Manage programme activities, milestones, risks, dependencies and governance requirements
  • Support executive reporting, compliance monitoring and audit readiness activities

Policy, Framework & Operating Model Design

  • Lead the review and redesign of employment policies, procedures and employee relations frameworks
  • Develop practical operating models that support legislative compliance while enabling business effectiveness
  • Produce governance documentation, manager guidance, toolkits and implementation frameworks
  • Ensure all documentation is legally robust, scalable and aligned to organisational requirements
  • Establish sustainable approaches for future legislative change implementation

Organisational Change & Workforce Transformation

  • Support workforce change readiness and consultation planning activities
  • Lead implementation planning associated with changes to redundancy, dismissal, consultation and workforce management requirements
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure consistent and compliant approaches to employee relations matters
  • Support organisational readiness for new employment rights obligations and regulatory expectations

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Design and implement governance frameworks and compliance controls
  • Establish audit-ready evidence and documentation supporting legislative compliance
  • Lead risk identification, mitigation planning and issue management activities
  • Support regulatory readiness and operational risk management initiatives
  • Provide regular updates to governance forums and senior stakeholders

Capability Building & Change Adoption

  • Develop and deliver manager capability programmes relating to legislative change
  • Create practical learning materials, decision-support tools and guidance resources
  • Support People Team upskilling activities across multiple disciplines
  • Lead communication and change adoption initiatives across the UK workforce
  • Drive the embedding of new policies, frameworks and ways of working

Strategic Employee Relations Leadership

  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert for complex employee relations and employment law matters
  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging risks and legislative developments
  • Drive continuous improvement across ER frameworks, policies and governance processes
  • Influence senior stakeholders to support successful implementation and sustained compliance

What We're Looking For

  • Significant Employee Relations experience within a complex organisation
  • Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and legislative change implementation
  • Proven experience leading employment law, HR transformation, regulatory change or people transformation initiatives
  • Strong experience translating legal requirements into practical business policies, frameworks and operating models
  • Experience operating within highly regulated, governance-focused environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR Systems, Payroll and operational teams
  • Strong programme management and delivery skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities

What You'll Need to Succeed at FNZ

  • The ability to lead through ambiguity and complex change
  • Strong strategic thinking and programme leadership capability
  • Excellent judgement when balancing legal, employee and commercial considerations
  • Confidence operating with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Exceptional organisation and delivery focus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A proactive, collaborative and outcomes-focused approach
  • The ability to build credibility quickly and influence at all levels of the organisation
