This role will report to the Head of Finance and requires attention to detail, combined with good communication skills to ensure a high and consistent reporting standard is maintained. The successful candidate will ideally possess a working technical knowledge of accounting standards and will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging working environment.\nFinancial processing and reporting:\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and audit packs\n General Ledger Management: Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors).\nTax and Compliance: Compute statutory taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to local tax laws and frameworks like IFRS.\nAuditing: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, supply documentation, and assist with compliance reviews.\n Budgeting and Forecasting: Track financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), forecast revenues/costs, and support cash flow control.\nBusiness partnering:\nAct as a liaison when required between the Finance team, business and clients.\nExperience Required:\nRequirement:\nCA (SA) or equivalent\nMinimum 5 years' management experience in a finance role in asset management\nStrong financial reporting and management accounting experience\nProven experience with budgeting and forecasting\nSound knowledge of VAT, Income Tax, IFRS, and financial compliance\nERP system experience (D365 highly advantageous)\nAdvanced level on Microsoft Excel\nVery good interpersonal skills. This role will involve liaising with various internal and external stakeholders including clients.\nConfident and self-sufficient individual able to manage their own workload effectively to meet deadlines.\nEnjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment and as part of a high-performance team.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.
