The successful candidate will ideally possess a working technical knowledge of accounting standards and will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging working environment.\nFinancial processing and reporting:\nPreparing monthly SLT/Board reporting including variance analysis and KPI reporting,\nAssist with preparing reports for quarterly FSCA reporting\nAssisting with monthly payroll and pension calculations\nPreparation of monthly VAT returns for the FNZ SA\nPreparation of monthly PAYE submissions to SARS\nPreparation of annual and provisional tax calculations, and submission of returns\nPreparing and reviewing journals to be posted to the ledger\nAssist in expenditure review across the ledger and prepare balance sheet reconciliations\nBusiness partnering:\nAct as a liaison when required between the Finance team and other parts of the business, including Client Directors\nProvide insightful analytical review and reporting to challenge business performance and forecasting\nEnsuring actions are taken to optimise business performance\nAR and Credit Control:\nCommunicating with relevant stakeholders within the organisation to ensure complete information provided (e.g. approval/PO/credit notes).\nTaking responsibility for the client invoicing process, including ensuring that fees are accurately calculated\nRegular review of client balances to identify overdue amounts\nMonthly review of all aged debtors including recording of client communication and payment updates\nExperience Required:\nRequirement:\nFull professional accountancy qualification (SAIPA, ACA, CA(SA), CIMA)\nIntermediate to advanced level on Microsoft Excel\n10-12 years financial experience\nVery good interpersonal skills. This role will involve liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.\nConfident and self-sufficient individual able to manage their own workload effectively to meet deadlines.\nEnjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment and as part of a high-performance team.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.
