Once business outcomes are understood from FNZ clients, these must be accurately documented and fed them into the delivery process to ensure they are easily understood and precise to deliver the right outcome for our clients.\nRole Description\nThe Solution Consultant role is a key role within the Solution Consulting team, and will provide leadership and expertise in the following areas:\nProviding up to date knowledge, awareness of current trends and future direction of the local asset management industry\n\nPresenting & explaining existing FNZ capability\n\nDefining and challenging scope of a project\n\nCapturing & documenting customer business outcomes to create requirements, solution designs and agreeing of Joint Target Operating Models\n\nPlatform integration design\n\nBusiness transformation support and consultancy services\n\nRegulations and advice on platform compliance\n\nCustomer training programmes and knowledge transfer\n\nPlatform configuration and delivering of FNZ’s Model Wealth Solution (MWS) process\n\nAnalyst & Developer handovers and support\n\nFunctional Reviews & TDD walkthroughs\n\nDefining business readiness processes and agreeing SLAs\n\nDefect verification\n\nThis role demands individuals who:\nAre consistently solution & execution focused\n\nCapable of dealing with complex problems & environments\n\nHave strong technology, analytical and data interpretation skills;\n\nTake ownership for an outcome on behalf of a customer\n\nComfortable with high levels of customer, stakeholder interaction & management\n\nTeam Responsibilities\nThe Solution Consulting team is responsible for providing a range of high value services to FNZ’s existing and potential customers. Once business outcomes are understood from FNZ clients, these must be accurately documented and fed them into the delivery process to ensure they are easily understood and precise to deliver the right outcome for our clients.\nThe team also works closely with FNZ’s Business Readiness Team, Operations and Production Support teams to ensure that FNZ provides its services compliantly, reliably and to scalable once implemented in production.\nSpecific Role Responsibilities\nProvide leadership and support for your aligned FNZ client project, building capability and providing support for more junior members of the team. Instil a spirit of continuous improvement in the team.\n\nWork with FNZ customers & internal stakeholders to help define proposition and product requirements. Provide Market expertise as required. Be an SME in FNZ Platform functionality and apply this understanding to help customers define propositions that best utilise or enhance FNZ core platform capabilities.\n\nHave a full understanding of a Platform Target Operating Model, including the interfaces between platform and customers operations and FNZ Investment operations. Provide advice to customers regarding best practice operating model design.\n\nBe an expert in the Model Wealth Solution and run the MWS Configuration process for new platform implementations, capturing all customer configuration points in service configuration documents.\n\nDocument any bespoke customer requirements, be the solution owner to ensure these are met.\n\nProvide review and quality assurance of solution documentation\n\nProvide training programmes and knowledge transfer services for FNZ customers.\n\nProvide consultancy services, as required, to other FNZ clients and projects.\n\nHave a good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the Solution Consultant operates and provide advice and guidance to customers in respect of delivering a compliant platform.\n\nBe an SME in the platform market in which FNZ operate, and provide training and support for other areas of the FNZ business.\n\nExperience required\nPreferred Industry Knowledge\nTrading system, order management system, corporate actions, and/or market data experience.\n\nExperience in a consulting, analysis or architecture environment.\n\nGeneral investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate.\n\nAn understanding of the Canadian regulatory environment FNZ operates within and a knowledge of the upcoming changes.\n\n3+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environment in the financial services/wealth market.\n\nRequired Knowledge & Skills\n1st class degree or equivalent experience\n\nExperience working within a business analysis / consulting role.\n\nBe able to evidence establishing an environment of continuous improvement and capability development.\n\nConfident, and able to take initiative given client- and delivery-focused environment.\n\nIndependent, self-directing and delivery focused working style.\n\nSuperior analytical thinking. · Commercially aware.\n\nIntermediate computer skills essential.\n\nExcellent organisational, administration and time management skills.\n\nGood team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.\n\nHighly developed written and oral communication skills.\n\nTransparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $126,000-$160,000 CAD per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications.
