{"id":968832,"url":"https://alion.io/job/fnz-treasury-administrator","title":"Treasury Administrator","company":{"id":172223,"name":"FNZ","domain":"fnz.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/fnz","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":76,"open_postings":19,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.947,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":28,"computed_at":"2026-11-08T05:47:12Z"}},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Bristol, United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":38000,"max_usd":90000,"period":"year","method":"role_country_seniority_unknown","sample_n":588},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Excel","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-16T16:26:34Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-16","last_verified_at":"2026-11-08T01:05:02Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":52,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":52},"description":"Role Overview\nThe Treasury Administrator plays an important role within the Treasury Team, supporting the effective administration of client bank accounts and ensuring that banking processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.\nWorking within a busy operational environment, the role involves processing a range of banking transactions and reconciliations relating to clients’ Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), while also supporting internal teams with banking-related queries.\nThe successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working to tight deadlines, with a strong focus on accuracy, risk awareness and customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nReconcile client bank accounts accurately and within agreed timescales.\n\nEnsure all client money received is identified and matched promptly.\n\nCreate Direct Debits to collect funds from external bank accounts and issue the appropriate correspondence.\n\nProcess payments across various banking systems.\n\nProcess and bank cheques.\n\nInput new client bank account details accurately onto internal systems.\n\nProcess monthly and account-closing interest.\n\nClose client bank accounts in accordance with established procedures.\n\nCreate and process Bulk Direct Debit instructions.\n\nProcess fee sweeps and refunds.\n\nCancel standing orders as required.\n\nProcess HMRC prefunded tax reclaim requests.\n\nMonitor and manage the team mailbox, ensuring queries and requests are dealt with promptly.\n\nComplete Direct Debit reconciliations.\n\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and key stakeholders.\n\nEnsure all internal service levels and deadlines are consistently met.\n\nEscalate issues, delays and exceptions to the Team Manager where appropriate.\n\nProactively identify potential risks or control issues within the department and escalate concerns appropriately.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of Treasury processes and ways of working.\n\nEnsure all work is completed in line with company procedures, regulatory requirements and relevant controls.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nEssential\nPrevious experience working within a banking, financial services or pensions environment.\n\nStrongworking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, manipulate and analyse data and perform data checks and reconciliations.\n\nStrong attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.\n\nComfortable working to tight deadlines and agreed service levels.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.\n\nA proactive approach to identifying issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.\n\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nThe successful candidate will be:\nAccurate and detail-focused -
