Supply Chain Technician – Coventry, UK (Fixed-Term, Minimum 30 Hours/Week)

Job Description

We are currently expanding our operations throughout the UK and seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Technician to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role will primarily involve working standard warehouse hours (days) but may include occasional weekend or evening shifts depending on business needs. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for keeping our camera hardware inventory accurate, picking orders, and repairing equipment ready to return to the field. Physical stamina, attention to detail, and technical aptitude are essential for this role.

This will be a 6 Month contract position, working a minimum 30 hrs per week with a possibility to extend beyond the initial contract.

• Driver's License and Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

What You Will Be Doing

• Pick orders and prepare pallets for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Complete accurate inventory counts and maintain up-to-date stock records
• Repair cameras and hardware components so they can be returned to the field in good working order
• Diagnose faults in returned camera hardware and determine repair or replacement needs
• Onboard/scan products into the system as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided tools
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, hand tools) safely and efficiently
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks during warehouse operations
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and repairs
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure inventory and repair work meets quality standards
• Meet or exceed speed and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) consistently
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress and flag any issues or challenges
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, supply chain, inventory, or technical repair role
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently
• Experience with pallet preparation, order picking, and inventory management processes
• Physical Stamina: Strong physical stamina to work on feet and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
• Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail to ensure inventory counts and repair work meet quality standards
• Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to liaise with supervisors and team members, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues
• Driver's License and Transportation: Valid driver's licence preferred
• Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed
• Ability to work nights and weekends
