We have proven this with major retailers around the world.\nJob Description\nWe are currently expanding our operations throughout the UK and seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Technician to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role will primarily involve working standard warehouse hours (days) but may include occasional weekend or evening shifts depending on business needs. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for keeping our camera hardware inventory accurate, picking orders, and repairing equipment ready to return to the field. Physical stamina, attention to detail, and technical aptitude are essential for this role.\nThis will be a 6 Month contract position, working a minimum 30 hrs per week with a possibility to extend beyond the initial contract.\nPossibility of weekend or night work\nDriver's License and Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nPick orders and prepare pallets for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness\nComplete accurate inventory counts and maintain up-to-date stock records\nRepair cameras and hardware components so they can be returned to the field in good working order\nDiagnose faults in returned camera hardware and determine repair or replacement needs\nOnboard/scan products into the system as required\nMaintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided tools\nOperate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, hand tools) safely and efficiently\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks during warehouse operations\nWork collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and repairs\nMaintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure inventory and repair work meets quality standards\nMeet or exceed speed and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) consistently\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress and flag any issues or challenges\nAdhere to company policies and procedures at all times\nRequirements:\nProven experience in a warehouse, supply chain, inventory, or technical repair role\nStrong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues efficiently\nExperience with pallet preparation, order picking, and inventory management processes\nPhysical Stamina: Strong physical stamina to work on feet and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (up to 9 hours)\nDetail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail to ensure inventory counts and repair work meet quality standards\nTime Management: Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks\nCommunication Skills: Effective communication skills to liaise with supervisors and team members, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues\nDriver's License and Transportation: Valid driver's licence preferred\nAbility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed\nAbility to work nights and weekends\nWhy Focal Systems\nStrong Values and Mission - We are a tightly-knit team with an ambitious mission and a strong set of core values, which define our approach to business and have successfully guided us since inception.\nExceptional Team - We are a team of hard-working, fun-loving professionals from some of the most eminent universities, research labs, and tech companies of our time.
