Accounting Intern

About the Role

As a General Accounting Intern, you will support the accounting team in processing transactions, verifying financial data, and assisting in billing and reconciliation activities. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, particularly in managing transactions related to e-commerce partners and service accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction and Payment Support
  • Assist in reviewing and verifying payments, fees, rebates, and transactions from e-commerce partners
  • Support payment confirmation for service-related transactions
  • Help ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Billing and Documentation
  • Assist in preparing and sending billing statements and Statements of Account (SOA) using tools such as automated billing systems and Google Mail Merge
  • Collate and organize sales and service invoices for client transmittal
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation
• Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Collect and analyze data on operational costs and transactions
  • Support identification of trends and provide insights related to e-commerce transactions
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal use

• Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Technology & Innovation, Logistics, and Marketing & Product Management
  • Support coordination of requirements related to financial transactions and reporting

Qualifications

• Must-Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Nice-to-Have (Optional but recommended!)
  • Familiarity with accounting concepts or financial documentation
  • Experience using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, or accounting systems (e.g., Xero)
  • Interest in data analysis or process improvement

• Internship timeline: October 2, 2026 to January 29, 2026 (4 months)
• Location: Taguig, BGC
• Setup: Hybrid
