This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and enhancing a portfolio of business-critical applications that support our continued growth and innovation.\nWorking alongside a collaborative team of developers, QA specialists, and technology professionals, you'll be responsible for building new functionality, improving existing systems, and helping deliver high-quality software solutions that make a real impact across the business.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDeveloping new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across our bespoke CMS and CRM platforms.\nWriting robust, maintainable code and comprehensive unit tests.\nCollaborating with QA teams to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.\nSupporting development-related issues through a rotating support desk function.\nParticipating in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and team meetings.\nContributing to a variety of technology projects across the business.\nWorking closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Skills & Experience\nProven experience in a PHP Developer or similar software development role.\nStrong experience with Laravel.\nSolid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js.\nExperience working with SQL databases, ideally MariaDB or MySQL.\nStrong HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap skills.\nExperience developing and consuming APIs, with knowledge of tools such as Postman.\nGood understanding of unit testing and software quality practices.\nExperience using Git and version control workflows.\nStrong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality solutions.\nDesirable Skills\nExperience within Telecoms, MSP, ICT, or similar industries.\nExposure to CRM and CMS platforms.\nKnowledge of cloud-based development environments.\nUnderstanding of secure development principles and best practices.\nExperience with .NET technologies.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.\nAwareness of AI technologies and integrations, including Microsoft Copilot, LLMs, and AI-driven automation solutions.\nWhy Join Focus Group?\nAt Focus Group, technology is at the heart of what we do.
