You'll support project governance, reporting, and process development, help run day-to-day project execution activities like retrospectives, reviews, and weekly meetings, and keep project documentation accurate and accessible for stakeholders. You'll also get the chance to run small-scope projects yourself, end to end, as their “project CEO.” This is a role for a student who wants real exposure to how a technical organization plans, tracks, and delivers complex work.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport project governance, reporting, and process development for the Laser PMO.\n\nAssist with project execution by helping to run retrospectives, reviews, and weekly project meetings.\n\nFacilitate recurring project meetings, ensuring they remain focused and productive.\n\nMaintain up-to-date project documentation and ensure stakeholders receive the information they need, when they need it.\n\nTake ownership of small-scope projects, managing them end to end as the \"project CEO\" for your area.\n\nHelp identify process gaps and propose improvements to how projects are tracked and reported.\n\nPromptly flag risks, blockers, and open decisions to the PMO lead.\n\nWho You Are\nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Physics, Optics/Photonics, Laser Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n\nPossess a basic understanding of optics, lasers, or experimental physics through coursework or laboratory experience.\n\nComfortable working hands-on with hardware, demonstrating careful, precise, and methodical handling of sensitive components.\n\nAble to reliably follow structured procedures and safety protocols (e.g., cleanroom or laboratory procedures).\n\nHave a basic familiarity with electronics and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meters, or similar devices.\n\nReliable, organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a hands-on lab environment.\n\nStrong communication skills in English.\n\nWhat We Offer\nInnovative Technology & Mission: Be part of a cutting-edge company working on groundbreaking research in clean energy and scientific discovery.\n\nCareer Development: We invest in our people.
