This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional or recent graduate who is interested in financial services, investments, and risk management.\nReporting to Head of Asset Risk, the successful candidate will provide support across the wider ICR team, working closely with Asset Risk, Credit Rating Oversight and Validation and Counterparty Risk.\nThe role will provide additional team capacity while offering meaningful development for the successful candidate through hands-on experience, exposure to senior stakeholders and mentoring from experienced colleagues.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the preparation of risk reports and management information packs for a range of stakeholders, including senior management.\nAssist with improving and maintaining the data infrastructure and reporting tools that support investment risk oversight including designing dashboards and report automation.\nSupport the ICR team with maintenance of clear, accurate records and supporting evidence for risk reviews, recommendations, approvals and follow-up actions \nResponsible for coordinating team activities, submissions to governance forums and broader deliverables to ensure they are well organised and progressed on time.\nEngagement with teams across Investment, Risk, Operations, Finance and Technology to obtain data and understand business processes.\nRequirements\nEssential\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint skills.\nA proactive, self-starting approach with strong common sense and judgement.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nCuriosity, learning agility, and a genuine interest in financial services.\nAbility to analyse information and communicate findings clearly and concisely.\nDesirable\nDegree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.\nExposure to financial services, investments, risk management, or asset management through internships, placements, or work experience.\nExperience using data analysis and reporting tools including Tableau, SQL and Python\n\nDE&I at PIC\nAt PIC, we believe that true innovation stems from embracing diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences.
