Building on success, we are now increasing team capability in data governance, data architecture and product design, and AI. As we expand our team, we are looking to hire a Solution Architect - Data.\nAbout the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga\nAs a Solution Architect - Data, you’ll be a hands-on technical practitioner responsible for turning complex Finance and business requirements into practical, scalable and reusable data solutions.\nYou’ll work directly with source data, using SQL and Databricks to understand structures, relationships and data quality; design conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional models; develop source-to-target mappings; and work alongside Data Engineers and BI teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.\nYou’ll also provide technical guidance and design support to Associate Solution Architects and other delivery team members, helping solve complex modelling and data challenges and improving our standards and ways of working. This is a technical guidance role rather than a people-management role, with both Solution Architect and Associate Solution Architect roles forming part of the wider Data & AI team.\nThis is an opportunity to combine hands-on data engineering and modelling expertise with solution design, helping build trusted, reusable Finance data products that support analytics, reporting and emerging AI use cases.\n\nAbout You | Mōu\nYou’re an experienced data professional who enjoys staying close to the data and solving complex problems hands-on.\nYou’re equally comfortable writing SQL and profiling source data as you are building an ERD, designing a dimensional model, defining source-to-target mappings or working through requirements with Finance stakeholders.\nYou understand that good architecture is not just about producing designs.
