We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator with deep expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning and strong experience across MSSQL and MySQL, combined with a foundational understanding of AWS and DevOps practices. This role will lead database strategy, performance optimization, and reliability engineering for large-scale, mission-critical platforms.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Manage and optimize MSSQL and MySQL environments
• Design and maintain HA/DR, backup, and replication strategies
• Ensure database reliability, monitoring, and incident resolution
• Work with AWS services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3) and support cloud-native architectures
• Drive automation and support DevOps practices (CI/CD, scripting.

Skills & Experience

• DBA experience with enterprise-scale systems
• Expert-level PostgreSQL performance tuning experience (mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of:
• MSSQL Server
• MySQL
• Hands-on experience with:
• AWS (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3 backups)
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)
• Strong SQL expertise with deep understanding of query execution plans
• Experience in automation/scripting (Python, Shell)
• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
