processes, including but not limited to the Budgeting and Expenditure Management processes\n\nCore Responsibilities and Key Result Areas\n\nEnsure clear audit trail, process transparency and clarity of roles of individual parties in the Procurement process \nProtection of Food Concepts from possible risks related to the procurement of goods and services\nDefine, implement and manage processes aimed at ensuring that only credible suppliers are registered to conduct business with Food Concepts and also put in place an effective framework for the performance management of the suppliers\nDefine, implement and measure processes, procedures and service level agreements to support quality service delivery \nConstantly communicate and educate the internal users on processes put in place for interfacing with suppliers, procurement of goods/services and contracting\nManage the contract award process from end to end by:\nFacilitating/supporting the execution of contracts\nNegotiating terms and conditions with suppliers during the contracting process\nReviewing contracts to ensure they capture agreed terms and conditions and that they effectively protect Food Concepts\nResolving of contractual issues and disputes and escalating accordingly, when required\nLine management of the IT Services department (with emphasis on driving recruitment to fill approved headcount, performance management, succession planning and training and development)\nLine management of the Procurement department (with emphasis on driving recruitment to fill approved headcount, performance management, succession planning and training and development)\nActive management of the following budgets:\nThe company’s overall cost of sales budget\nThe Procurement Department’s annual expense budget\n\nKey Performance Indicators\n\nProcurement turnaround time\nQuality of Suppliers\nQuality of goods/services procured\nVariance from average price benchmarks for the different categories of products/services\nSavings on Procurement of goods/services\n\nKnowledge Requirements\n\nVendor Management\nCost Management\nContract Management\nNegotiation\n\nJob Specifications\n\nEducational Requirements\n\nProfessional Requirements\n\nExperience Requirements\n\nMinimum of university degree or equivalent\n\nMembership of the CIPS, CILS, CILCS, CISCOM, Lean Six Sigma or any other related professional qualification is an added advantage\n\nMinimum of 3 years working experience at management level in Supply Chain function\n\nDecision Expectations\n\nActs on defined procedures and decisions\nEnforces agreed decisions\nPlans own work schedule and work schedule of subordinates\nResponsible for deploying hardware, and applications across all business locations.\nCoordinate, supervise and lead Field Support Team members to achieve the objectives of this role\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nJobholder typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday,
