The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be on the forefront of driving Footprint's growth by generating new business opportunities through strategic outreach and engagement. This role is for someone hyper-focused on delivering results who understands that this often requires constant, independent process innovation.

You'll work directly with our sales and growth team to build and execute top-of-funnel strategy, gaining deep exposure to the financial crime, compliance, and identity verification space. On a team this small, every contribution you make has a direct impact on the company's growth trajectory. You'll report directly to the Head of GTM Strategy.

What You'll Do

• Lead Generation: Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities through outbound targeting banks and fintechs

• Qualification: Engage prospects to understand their financial crime, fraud, KYC, and compliance pain points and determine fit with Footprint and Percy

• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records and prioritize leads in HubSpot, keeping a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities

• Collaborate: Work closely with the sales and growth team to refine messaging, sequences, and outreach strategy

• Market Intelligence: Develop deep expertise in the financial crime, fraud, and identity landscape so you can articulate Footprint's value with credibility

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 0-2 years of work experience, new grads encouraged to apply. Experience as a top-performing rep at a high-velocity startup is a plus

• You spike somewhere: We're not looking for well-rounded and average. We want people who are exceptional at something, whether that's writing outbound that gets replies, sheer work rate, research, creativity, or relentless follow-through, and want to round out the rest fast

• Familiarity with a modern sales stack (HubSpot, Clay, Nooks, Unify, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar)

• Exposure to fintech, financial services, compliance, risk, or fraud
