This position is part of the union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.\nJOB SUMMARY\nFor Our Future Wisconsin seeks motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Canvass Managers for a paid canvassing program in Platteville. You will be responsible for executing the regional field plan and supervision of paid canvasser operations within your assigned region in accordance with strict health and safety protocols. Candidates should have familiarity with their assigned region, experience working with door-to-door field programs, comfortable working long hours, and access to reliable transportation.\nThis position is anticipated to run through at least November 2026.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nResponsible for training canvassers, launching canvass events, and supervising a team of canvassers in accordance with FOF health and safety guidelines.\n\nWill serve on the front lines of a voter outreach program for local and statewide candidates in-home regions, including regular door-to-door canvassing.\n\nEnsuring that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.\n\nEnsuring that all required reporting is accurate and timely and that all regional data is entered in a timely manner.\n\nEnsure all health and safety protocols and procedures are met.\n\nRecruiting, scheduling, and confirming canvassers.\n\nAssist with delivering training programs.\n\nOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.\n\nSupervisory responsibilities:\nManage one or more teams of canvassers.\n\nOn-turf coaching, support, and accountability.\n\nSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nAt least 1-2 cycles of paid field campaign or other door to door canvassing experience.\n\nCommitment to building power in the progressive movement is a must.\n\nKnowledge of Votebuilder/VAN/LAN preferred.\n\nBasic computer literacy, database skills, and prefer access to a reliable portable computer. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.\n\nMust have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.\n\nAbility to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.\n\nAbility to work independently and in team settings.\n\nStrong coaching skills and abilities.\n\nAbility to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.\n\nStrong interpersonal communications skills.\n\nBilingual experience is a plus, but not required.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nProlonged periods of moving around for voter contact activity\n\nThis is an in-person position and will require a physical presence in the local office\n\nMust be able to transport up to 15 pounds at times\n\nMust be able to travel across Platteville\n\nBENEFITS\nThis position comes with a comprehensive benefits package.\nHealth Insurance Coverage - 95% Employer Paid\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nRetirement Savings Plan with matching contributions up to the first 5%\n\n$150 Monthly Cell Phone and Internet Reimbursement\n\nMonthly Mileage Stipend\n\n13 days paid time off every calendar year, as well as other paid holidays.\n\nLead a voter-contact team and earn up to $500 in weekly performance bonuses, plus up to $1,050 in sign-on and retention bonuses!\nThe position pays a $53,339.10 annual base salary, with a temporary 4% pay increase through November 3, 2026, plus:\n$350 weekly performance bonus for meeting expectations.\n$500 weekly performance bonus for exceeding expectations.\nWeekly performance bonuses are based on the established rubric and confirmation by state leadership.\n$300 sign-on bonus after completing 10 verified canvass or management shifts by November 3.\n$500 retention bonus after completing 10 scheduled canvass or management shifts from October 16 through October 30.\n$250 GOTV bonus after completing one qualifying scheduled shift on each day from October 31 through November 3. This bonus is separate from the advertised sign-on and retention total.\n Gas-card incentives may also be available under program guidelines.\nCanvass Managers may earn the sign-on and retention bonuses together, in addition to qualifying weekly performance bonuses. Eligibility depends on the employee’s start date and completion of all applicable program requirements.\nEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK\nEmployees may be required to work outside of normal business hours including weekends, holidays, and nights.\n\nEmployees are required to abide by certain blackout dates during a campaign cycle or other key deadlines, and generally not allowed to take off during blackout periods.
