We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to help strengthen procurement across the business, delivering sustainable cost efficiencies while maintaining the quality and standards our teams rely on.\nThis is more than a traditional sourcing role. You’ll combine commercial insight, market knowledge and strong negotiation skills to challenge spend, identify opportunities for better value and build supplier relationships that support the needs of the business.\nWorking closely with Finance, Operations, Legal and other teams across Fora, you’ll turn business requirements into effective procurement strategies, commercially robust agreements and measurable outcomes. You’ll also help develop procurement capability within the team, sharing your expertise and supporting continuous improvement.\nPlease note this position is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from anywhere. You’ll also help evolve our procurement processes, making them more efficient and better equipped to support the changing needs of the business.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nProcurement Strategy & Commercial Value\nSupport the development and delivery of procurement strategies that align with Fora’s wider business priorities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve value through specification, price, efficiency, demand and alternative sourcing approaches.\nBring external market insight into procurement decisions, including supplier developments, cost drivers and best practice.\nBalance cost efficiency with quality, service and the operational needs of the business.\nSupplier Management & Negotiation\nBuild strong relationships with key suppliers, creating clear expectations around quality, cost and delivery.\nLead supplier sourcing, evaluation and due diligence to ensure procurement decisions are commercially robust.\nDevelop and lead negotiation strategies that deliver strong outcomes for Fora.\nTake contracts through the sourcing and approval process, ensuring the appropriate controls, standards and requirements are met.\nCost Management & Commercial Insight\nWork with departmental stakeholders to establish realistic cost expectations and supplier forecasts.\nMonitor supplier spend against budgets, identifying variances, risks and opportunities for intervention.\nAnalyse spend categories to identify the key drivers of cost and opportunities for greater efficiency.\nProvide clear reporting on supplier performance, cost trends and procurement KPIs to support better decision-making.\nProcess Improvement & Risk\nIdentify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems and tools, challenging established ways of working where there is a better approach.\nAssess and manage procurement risks, including supplier disruption, cost pressures and commercial inefficiencies.\nStrengthen business continuity by helping develop contingency plans for critical suppliers and services.\nMaintain high standards of compliance with internal controls, policies and relevant regulatory requirements.\nCollaboration & Team Development\nBuild trusted relationships across Finance, Operations, Legal and other teams to ensure procurement supports wider business needs.\nWork with stakeholders to define requirements and create support for cost-efficiency and procurement initiatives.\nCoach and mentor junior colleagues, sharing procurement expertise and supporting their development.\nHelp create a culture of continuous improvement, commercial thinking and accountability within the Procurement team.\nWhy Fora?\nThis role offers the opportunity to influence commercial decisions across a growing, multi-site business, with exposure to a broad range of suppliers, stakeholders and spend categories.\nYour work will have a direct and measurable impact, from supplier strategy and negotiation to cost management and process improvement, helping Fora operate efficiently while maintaining the quality and experience expected across our spaces.\nAbout You\nYou’re commercially minded and comfortable challenging established thinking when there is an opportunity to create better value. You combine an analytical approach with sound judgement, understanding that successful procurement is about balancing cost with quality, risk and long-term supplier performance.\nYou build credible relationships with stakeholders and suppliers and can move confidently between detailed analysis and commercial conversations. You’re proactive in identifying opportunities, comfortable taking ownership and keen to share your expertise with others.\nRequirements\nEssential Experience\nA proven track record in procurement, with experience across sourcing, category management and supplier management.\nStrong knowledge of procurement processes and risk management.\nDemonstrable experience developing and leading successful supplier negotiations.\nExperience managing supplier performance and commercial relationships.\nThe ability to analyse complex data and translate it into clear commercial insight.\nExperience using data visualisation platforms such as Power BI.\nExperience reviewing budgets, tracking costs and reporting against forecasts.\nConfidence working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across different business functions.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience within a private equity-backed, real estate or consumer-focused business.\nExperience working on large-scale projects or within complex organisational structures.\nKnowledge of ERP systems.\nAdvanced Excel or financial modelling capability.\nA relevant degree, postgraduate qualification or professional certification.\nBenefits\nAt Fora, we believe work should enhance your life-not compete with it.
