Watch our story and see why we do what we do.\nWhat we are looking for:\nWe seek an experienced Mobile Engineer with a strong background in building comprehensive user solutions and frontend infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of mobile development experience, ideally in React Native. We will prioritize candidates who have built a React Native app from scratch or who have meaningfully contributed to a production app.\nYou will lead large-scale projects for our app for EBT shoppers, which allows them to check their SNAP balance, collect rewards and more. You will ship critical projects and establish best practices for frontend development for the team. Your role will include improving frontend infrastructure and tooling, balancing business priorities with user experience and technical sustainability, and influencing our technical vision.\nCollaboration is key; you will partner closely with product managers to prioritize a long product feature list.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of mobile engineering experience building end-to-end user solutions\nExperience in React Native, especially having built an app from scratch\nDemonstrated experience leading technical initiatives within your team, mentoring engineers through design and delivery, contributing meaningfully to roadmap discussions, and independently driving complex projects from design through execution\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead large multi-engineer projects for the Forage EBT Shopper app.\nBalance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability in trade offs when balancing new feature requests and necessary engineering improvements\nInfluence frontend development at Forage by sharing technical vision and providing guidance\nMake teammates at Forage more effective through better frontend infrastructure and tooling\nMentor teammates and others around frontend best practices\nOur Offer:\nThis role is Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, we will consider remote within North America on a case-by-case basis.
