Candidates must have direct experience in power or utility construction environments.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES\nField Execution & Leadership\nLead construction execution across distribution, transmission, or substation projects\nDirect and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and field supervisors\nDrive daily and weekly work planning on active job sites\nResolve field issues in real time to maintain production\nPlanning, Scheduling & Delivery\nDevelop execution plans and sequencing strategies\nCoordinate mobilization, access, and utility constraints\nMonitor schedules and implement recovery plans\nCommercial & Cost Management\nTrack costs, production, and quantities\nManage subcontractor scope and change orders\nIdentify and mitigate risks impacting budget and schedule\nSafety & Compliance\nLead site safety and enforce company standards\nEnsure compliance with utility, environmental, and regulatory requirements\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nAct as the primary point of contact for utility clients\nLead project meetings and reporting\nCoordinate across field, engineering, and internal teams\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)\n5-10+ years of Project Management experience in power or utility construction\nDirect experience in at least one of the following:Transmission line construction\nElectrical distribution systems\nSubstation construction\n\nExperience managing field crews and subcontractors on active utility job sites\nStrong understanding of:Electrical construction scopes\nUtility standards and constraints\nConstruction sequencing in live environments\n\nPreferred\nExperience in Southeast U.S. utility environments\nExperience working with utility owners (Duke, co-ops, etc.)\nProcore, SAP, MS Project or similar\nPMP or equivalent\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\nLocation & Travel\nMust be based in the Southeast U.S. (Charlotte or surrounding region preferred)\nApproximately 30% travel to active job sites\nCompensation & Benefits\n$83,800 - $163,900 annually (based on experience)\n401(k) with company match\nFull health, dental, vision benefits\nPaid travel and expenses\nPTO and vacation\nForbes Bros.
