We are seeking an experienced developer to work on an industry leading product and deliver on our key milestone components. Experience in designing and developing complex code on Linux is required. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, independent hard worker who wants to be part of a winning team.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to work with a strong team within cyber security industry.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and implement cross network security solutions in response to emerging threats\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain Forcepoint network security products\nAssist and troubleshoot product related issues escalated by the product support team\nPerform additional duties and projects as required to achieve organizational goals\nAct as a technical leader and mentor for engineering team, growing engineers through hands-on guidance and challenging assignments.\nProvide guidance on software design, low level implementation, and debugging of complex issues at the binary level.\nImplement security software to a high quality and be a champion for architectural integrity.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n10+ years of experience with C/C++ on Linux\nExperience in AI assisted software development\nGood knowledge of OS internals and device driver fundamentals\nExperience of leading development projects and the mentoring of junior developers\nStrong troubleshooting skills, good coding and source management practices\nExcellent debugging skills.\nStrong understanding of operating system fundamentals such as file systems, network protocol stacks, process management, interrupt handling, and memory management.\nUnderstanding or experience with certificate management, code signing, secure communications, encryption, trusted boot, or related topics.\nSoft Skills:\nExperience of leading development teams from a technical viewpoint.\nAbility to influence both the internal and external teams\nSelf-motivated to research new skills and technologies \nDesire to develop talent and mentor junior engineers.\nExperience working in a cross functional organization with distributed teams.\nStrong communication (written and oral) and teamwork ethic within a diverse team environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nKnowledge of network security highly desired\nExperience developing and debugging kernel level code, system extensions and/or device drivers\nPrior experience developing security products\nDeep understanding of secure coding techniques, integrity measurement, and tamper detection.\nGood understanding of test frameworks.\nDirect experience with Agile methods.\nExposure to virtualization and containerization.\nKnowledge of design patterns. \nSolid understanding of build systems and continuous integration.\nStrong personal commitment to quality and repeatable processes.\nDon’t meet every single qualification?
