We are a full-service sign company providing a wide range of products and services, including custom signs, wide-format printing, and professional sign installation. This position works closely with customers, the sales team, graphic designers, and production staff to help ensure projects are completed accurately and meet customer expectations. MSU Federal Credit Union may or may not be able to accommodate temporary or permanent changes to work arrangements or allow employment outside the city and/or state of residency in which the new hire resides at the time of offered employment. \nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompensation for this position is based on experience\nWork environment that is climate-controlled, clean, orderly, and promotes safety\n100% Company-Paid Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability Premiums \nUp to 13 days of PTO within your first year, as well 8 Paid Holidays\n401(k) with an immediate 1:1 Match\nUp to 6 Weeks of Paid Parental Leave\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide friendly, professional, and timely customer service by phone, email, and in person.\nAssist customers with questions about our products and services, learning to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.\nRespond to customer inquiries and follow up on requests, estimates, and ongoing projects.\nLearn to prepare estimates, work orders, and other project documentation using company software.\nAssist walk-in customers and support general sales activities as needed.\nGather project information from customers, including sizes, quantities, specifications, and deadlines.\nCommunicate project details clearly to the graphics, production, and installation teams.\nHelp track project progress and communicate updates to customers as needed.\nDevelop a working knowledge of sign products, printing services, materials, and production processes through hands-on training and experience.\nLearn basic industry terminology, material options, and the steps involved in completing a sign project.\nMaintain accurate records and pay close attention to details to help prevent errors and ensure customer expectations are met.\nWork collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment.\nContinue learning and developing sales, customer service, and industry knowledge.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPrevious customer service experience or sign industry experience preferred.\nCommunication Skills - Excellent written and oral and oral. Communicates well with Customer, prospects, peers, and colleagues (including leadership) on a regular basis. Ability to convey messages and ideas concisely and effectively with professionalism.\nDriven to provide the best customer experience and continually improve performance.\nStrong time-management and planning skills. Can plan personal timeline to meet specific task goals. Understands the requirement to be organized and work in an organized fashion. Works efficiently with a pre-defined schedule or set of existing priorities but can also effectively prioritize situations and emergencies.\nWorks well independently and in groups. Demonstrates ability to communicate and work accordingly with other departments and external businesses. Able to stay focused and maintain drive throughout a busy and heavy workflow. Self-motivated, and understands what needs to be done without requiring instruction.\nDetail Oriented - Ability to address details specific to individual tasks as well as understanding the big picture associated with given task.\nThe ability to perform basic shop math.\nThe ability to use and read a tape measure.\nA positive and patient attitude.\nWilling to work overtime during peak business times - including occasional weekends.\nWilling and able take constructive criticism and continue to learn & grow in the role.\nWe do not expect a new employee to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong customer service instincts, and the motivation to build a successful career with our team.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience in customer service, retail, inside sales, order entry, or administrative support.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.\nExperience working with customers in a business-to-business environment.\nExposure to construction, building trades, printing, graphics, or manufacturing.\nExperience learning new computer systems or business software.\nAn interest in developing sales skills and building long-term customer relationships.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nComfort performing tedious tasks - able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.\nThis position requires onsite presence at the employee’s assigned location for all scheduled shifts.\nMay be required to remain standing, seated or stooped in a stationary position for an extended period.\nAbility to operate standard office technology, equipment, and tools, which includes frequent use of a computer.\nFrequently needs to move about inside or outside of an office area.\nExposure to potentially hazardous conditions.
