This includes final quality control and organizing products for jobs so they are ready on time for installation. We are a full service, custom sign shop that provides quality products and services to our awesome customers. This includes updating the Google Installation Calendar.\nCommunicate with the Production Manager to ensure product is complete and ready for upcoming installations. \nAct as a final quality control to ensure finished goods match job requirements and are ready for installation, and ensure installed jobs meet customer and safety standards.\nWork closely with the Installation Site Supervisor to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.\n\nEnsure installation teams have the necessary tools to complete projects successfully. \nManage the fleet of company installation vehicles. This includes the schedule and coordination of periodic maintenance and DOT inspections if applicable.\nConduct site surveys when necessary to determine feasibility of jobs and gather information for quoting.\nWork with third party utility service marking (MissDig) to locate and mark prior to work being started. \nSubmit Sign and/or electrical permit applications when needed from proper state, county, city and townships.\nAct as a backup installer and flex installer when demand dictates.\nInventory and monitor company tools and notify management when replacement tools are needed.\n\nRead construction-style blueprints to ensure proper installation of signage.\nComfortable working independently without direct supervision for extended periods of time.\nOther production tasks and duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nValid Michigan driver's license and Michigan Medical Card for Chauffer’s License.\nExperience in construction or a skilled trade is preferred.\nStrong customer relations, service skills, and a positive & patient attitude imperative.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to operate a computer, including Microsoft suite and internet browsers.\nThe ability to perform basic Shop Math including reading measuring equipment.\nAble to work with power tools, including saws, drills, and angle grinders.\nComfortable working outdoors year-round.\nAbility to adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment.\nMotivated, self-starter who can work independently.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThis position requires onsite presence at the employee’s assigned location for all scheduled shifts.\nMay be required to remain standing, seated or stooped in a stationary position for an extended period.\nAbility to operate standard office technology, equipment, and tools, which includes frequent use of a computer.\nFrequently needs to move about inside or outside of an office area.\nExposure to potentially hazardous conditions, such as working from heights.
