Forestdale’s mission is “to ensure that children and families have the fundamental assets they need to thrive and live independently.\nJob Summary\nThe Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the LBHP team in the Behavioral Health Program/ Article 29-I. S/he/they support the LBHP team in the use of best practices behavioral health assessments, crisis management, treatment plan development and therapeutic interventions to children involved in the child welfare system. In addition, the Clinical Supervisor must ensure that all regulations form OCFS, OMH and DOH are followed.\nEssential Functions:\nThe supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision to the mental health providers.\nWill act as liaison and provide coordination between the medical staff, health homes program, Article 29-I administration, and case planning team to ensure that the children in our care are receiving the behavioral health services they need.\nReview and co-sign all the documentation completed by the LBHP (including Progress notes, Mental Health Intake and Reassessments, Evaluations, Comprehensive Treatment Plans, OLP treatment plans, and court reports).\nAssigns cases and monitors caseload.\nComplete necessary case-related and supervisory documentation\nParticipate in program development and quality improvement activities.\nAttend weekly case conferences as a support to the LBHP.\nProvide psychotherapeutic supports \nComplete other duties as assigned\nMinimum Requirements\nMaster’s degree from an accredited university in behavioral sciences or related field\nAt least 3 years of supervisory experience in the delivery of direct services to children, youth and families \nSkills and competencies including, but not limited to, oral and written communication, program evaluation, solid clinical skills.\nKnowledge of Trauma interventions\nCompliance with:\nRequired background checks, including NYS Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse/Maltreatment, NYS Sex Offender Registry, NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services fingerprinting, NYS Justice Center Staff Exclusion List, NYS OMIG Medicaid Exclusion List.\nMandated reporter training.\nApplicable provisions of the NYS Education Law with respect to hiring and retaining licensed professionals\nMust have LCSW licensure.\nSpanish a plus\nSalary:\nMasters & LCSW $76,000 - $83,000\nMaster's & LCSW & Bilingual $78,000 - $85,000\nLocation: \n67- 35 112thSt, Forest Hills, NY 11375\nBenefits: Join the Forestdale Team and Enjoy Excellent Benefits:\nFour weeks’ vacation\nMedical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance\n401(k), 7% employer contribution + 2% match\nTax-deferred health care/dependent care/commuter plans\nFlexible Schedule\nOpportunities for educational scholarships\nAdditional Information\nForestdale Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that is proudly committed to becoming an anti-racist and multicultural organization that stands up for justice and equity.
