We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges, guided by our core values: We Do What We Say, We Are Passionate About Our Work, We Are One Team, We Work Smart, and We Do The Right Thing.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, Manage and be Accountable for their direct reports.\nResponsible for driving a safety culture which promotes Incident and Injury Free Performance.\nProvide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.\nPrepare complete estimates for project specific change order work with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting and the like.\nAssist with supervision of the total construction effort to ensure project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives and subcontractors.\nPlan, coordinate, and support onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).\nSupervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract.\nProvide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.\nAssume responsibility for daily documentation as required by the client and Forgen.\nGenerate and maintain a loaded schedule using P6, develop meeting minutes and create agenda for weekly client and company meetings.\nWork directly with Project Superintendent to maintain costing for the overall project.\nTrack and maintain all documents associated with recycling, transportation, and disposal.\nPerform additional assignments and special projects as directed.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years of applicable experience in the construction industry or;\nIn lieu of a degree, candidates must possess equivalent applicable experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of eight years of experience required.\nExperienced in demolition, site restoration, material management, cost tracking, and interpreting construction plans/specs.\nSkilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and accounting/cost systems.\nProven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate teams; strong understanding of subordinate roles and responsibilities.\nExcellent written/oral communication, strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.\nHighly organized, proactive, flexible, customer-focused, and committed to high standards and continuous improvement.\nValid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPast experience in a construction environment which demands outstanding safety performance a plus.\nThe following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory. Company will provide additional training, as necessary.40 Hour HAZWOPER training.\nCompetent Person Safety Training\n8-Hour OSHA Refresher Training\n10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training\nFirst Aid and CPR\n\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nThis office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed.
