We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges, guided by our core values: We Do What We Say, We Are Passionate About Our Work, We Are One Team, We Work Smart, and We Do The Right Thing.\nKey Responsibilities\nChampion Forgen’s Core Values and drive an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture across assigned projects.\nProvide advanced EHS leadership and support to high-risk or high-visibility projects.\nLead site safety inspections, field audits, and complex hazard assessments; ensure corrective actions are implemented.\nDevelop, review, and refine project HASPs and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).\nLead or assist complex incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action development.\nServe as a key liaison between Forgen, subcontractors, clients, regulators, and third-party auditors.\nMentor and support EHS Specialists I, EHS Technicians, and site personnel.\nConduct specialized safety training, deliver project-specific onboarding, and reinforce competency requirements.\nManage EHS Insights reporting accuracy, data quality, and performance metrics.\nConduct advanced air monitoring, sampling, equipment calibration, and industrial hygiene tasks.\nLead weekly project walkthroughs with project leadership and provide risk-based recommendations.\nOversee maintenance of certifications, medical screenings, and training tracking for assigned personnel.\nManage PPE needs, procurement, and inventory at the project level.\nParticipate in compliance assurance audits, corporate assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport development of safety policies, training materials, and best practices.\nPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.\n5-10+ years of progressive safety experience in heavy civil, environmental, industrial, mining, oil & gas, or comparable high-risk environments.\nProven ability to lead field teams and influence safety culture.\nStrong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.\nValid U.S. driver’s license.\nPreferred Qualifications\nOSHA 500 or 510\n40-Hour HAZWOPER\n30-Hour OSHA Construction\nCompetent Person training (excavations, scaffolding, fall protection, confined space)\nEM385-1-1 coursework\nBCSP certification strongly preferred (e.g., CHST, CSP)\nMSHA training\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nThis role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights. Work conditions and demands may vary, with possible exposure to heavy machinery, chemicals, dust, fumes, noise, and extreme weather. Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots, is required.
