This role owns project financial performance-including budgeting, forecasting, cost administration, and revenue recognition-while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and driving subcontractor accountability. The Project Manager sets execution plans aligned to scope, schedule, and risk; leads contract administration and change management; and directs the onsite team to ensure consistent, high-quality production. We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges, guided by our core values: We Do What We Say, We Are Passionate About Our Work, We Are One Team, We Work Smart, and We Do The Right Thing.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsible for driving a safety culture which promotes Incident and Injury Free Performance.\nProvide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.\nAssist with estimating and proposals of assigned bid opportunities with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, production rates, subcontractors and overall project approach.\nSupervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Responsible for development of basic project schedules. Responsible for all project cost administration processes to include; completing/reviewing project budget, weekly receiving reports, cost reports and providing monthly cost and revenue forecasts. Responsible for insuring accurate production reporting and interfacing with client representatives and responsible for administration of all subcontractors.\nPlan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).\nResponsible for understanding of general contract administration and a complete understanding of all project contract requirements. Responsible for recognizing changes in project scope and or conditions, ability to develop claims and responsible for leading claim and change negotiations.\nOwns escalation trigger, framing, and initial execution for project risk.\nSupervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract. Responsible for hiring and disciplinary actions with all assigned project staff to include both project craft and salaried staff.\nProvide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.\nOwns documentation integrity as part of project risk management, ensuring project files support claims, audits, and closeout, and correcting documentation gaps immediately.\nAssume responsibility for productivity of employees, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the projects.\nResponsible for the overall profit and loss for assigned projects.\nOwns full project closeout, including lessons learned, staff feedback, subcontractor performance review, and final risk and claim disposition.\nPerform additional assignments and special projects as directed.\nBasic Qualifications\nBS, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Project related experience.\nMore than ten years of progressive heavy civil construction experience, with the most recent five years of progressive Project Management experience including direct supervisory experience in heavy civil construction.\nSkilled in project controls software, including Excel, Microsoft Office/Project, Primavera (P6); AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.\nStrong understanding of construction engineering, codes, standards, and cross-functional relationships.\nExcellent written/verbal communication and leadership skills; able to resolve complex contract issues independently.\nHighly motivated, safety-focused, ethical, and committed to doing quality work.\nStrong time management, attention to detail, and sound decision-making abilities.\nValid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTWIC card holder preferred.\nIn-Situ Stabilization project experience is a plus.\nFluency in Spanish is a plus.\nThe following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
