We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges, guided by our core values: We Do What We Say, We Are Passionate About Our Work, We Are One Team, We Work Smart, and We Do The Right Thing.\nKey Responsibilities\nEmbrace Forgen’s Core Values in all aspects of the job.\nResponsible for driving a safety culture which promotes Incident and Injury Free Performance.\nProvide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to successfully complete project.\nAssist with estimating and proposals of assigned bid opportunities with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, production rates, subcontractors and overall project approach.\nSupervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Responsible for development of basic project schedules. Responsible for all project cost administration processes to include; completing/reviewing project budget, weekly receiving reports, cost reports and providing monthly cost and revenue forecasts. Responsible for insuring accurate production reporting and interfacing with client representatives and responsible for administration of all subcontractors.\nPlan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).\nResponsible for understanding of general contract administration and a complete understanding of all project contract requirements. Responsible for recognizing changes in project scope and or conditions, ability to develop claims and responsible for leading claim and change negotiations.\nSupervise employees and other subcontractors as required by the contract. Responsible for hiring and disciplinary actions with all assigned project staff to include both project craft and salaried staff.\nProvide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required. Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.\nAssume responsibility for productivity of employees, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the projects.\nResponsible for the overall profit and loss for assigned projects.\nPerform additional assignments and special projects as directed.\nBasic Qualifications\nBS, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent Project related experience.\nTen plus years of progressive Project Management experience including direct supervisory experience in heavy civil, soil improvement, and capital projects.\nAutoCAD, Primavera, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.\nExcellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.\nAbove average oral and written communication skills, leadership skills, along with use of independent judgement and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues.\nHighly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.\nAbility to exercise independent judgment and advise project leadership on complex issues.\nAdvanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards, and an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units.\nHighly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.\nStrong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.\nDemonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.\nPassion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.\nTeam player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.\nStrong organization, time management, and attention to detail.\nValid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTWIC card holder preferred.\nIn-Situ Stabilization project experience is a plus.\nProficiency in Primavera (P6), and AutoCAD software is a plus.\nFluency in Spanish is a plus.\nThe following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory.
