They may act as technical leads, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and serve as subject matter experts in power electronics design.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign and develop power electronics systems, including AC/DC and DC/DC power converters.\nTranslate customer and system requirements into electrical and power converter designs.\nDesign, prototype, test, and troubleshoot power conversion circuits and associated control systems.\nDesign magnetic components and collaborate with suppliers to develop production-ready solutions.\nPerform analog and digital circuit design, PCB development, and hardware verification testing.\nDevelop, test, and debug system-level architectures for new products.\nParticipate in requirements definition, project planning, design reviews, and risk analysis.\nPrepare design specifications, technical documentation, and test procedures.\nSupport regulatory and compliance testing, including EMC and IEC 60601-1 standards.\nLead evaluation of design alternatives and provide technical input for project planning and proposals.\nSupport design transfer, process improvement initiatives, and quality system compliance.\nInterface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.\n6-9 years of experience with a BS degree or 3-6 years with an MS degree.\nStrong background in power electronics, including power converters, power management, and analog circuit design.\nExperience designing and testing power conversion circuits and magnetic components.\nExperience taking products from concept through production.\nStrong understanding of PCB design, embedded systems, and hardware verification testing.\nProficient at solving complex engineering problems and developing practical solutions.\nExcellent documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.\nMedical device experience preferred but not
