Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.\nRole Description\nWe are looking for an EHS Engineer to further support daily functions of our Form SAFE program at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. Working with a team of EHS representatives, you will be responsible to ensure our team is operating with best safety practices and leading efforts to improve the culture of safety in the workplace. A self-starter, you will proactively mitigate new hazards and roll up your sleeves to quickly respond to critical situations in the most effective and efficient manner. Taking a collaborative approach, you’ll work closely with all teams to provide a great and safe place to work. Relocation assistance is available. \nWhat you'll do:\nEnsure day-to-day compliance with EHS policies and regulations\n\nConsult on risk mitigation tools and participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews\n\nFacilitate HAZOP’s, PHA’s, and other Risk Assessment for equipment and processes\n\nPerform various and regular safety inspections of the facility and key equipment\n\nConduct job safety analysis, pre startup safety reviews, ergonomic evaluations of new processes and materials approvals or substitutions\n\nManage safety training schedules for various teams and departments\n\nWork with the Training Department to deliver and document initial and ongoing EHS training\n\nActively drive and participate in site Safety Committee meetings\n\nWork closely with departments to ensure EHS requirements are being addressed and met\n\nWhat you'll bring:\n5+ years experience in environment, health and safety roles supporting Manufacturing, R&D or Engineering functions as well as direct experience with Process Safety and Design Teams.\n\nBachelors of Science in related field; Safety, Environmental, Engineering, etc\n\nProgram experience with:\nControl of Hazardous Energy\n\nPermit Required Confined Space\n\nPre-Startup Safety Reviews\n\nAdvanced Ergonomics\n\nRespiratory Protection\n\nElectrical Safety\n\nIndustrial Hygiene\n\nRisk Assessments and Mitigation\n\nHazard Communication\n\nKnowledge of NFPA 70E and ability to set up and calculate approach boundaries on electrical equipment.\n\nProficient in deploying and integrating diverse AI technologies, with a proven capacity to rapidly master and adopt emerging tools.\n\nExperience with navigating regulatory requirements as they relate to Large Quantity Generator status, satellite and 90-day accumulation areas, and disposal of wastes\n\nExtensive knowledge of hazards around Manufacturing and R&D\n\nApplication of OSHA General Industry requirements & Environmental permit applications\n\nExperience as RSO / LSO / NFPA70E Trainer/ ANSI B11 Training is a plus\n\nAdvanced degree in Safety, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred\n\nWhere you'll work:\nThis role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
