Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.\nRole Description\nForm Energy is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to accelerate the validation and safety certification of our multi-day energy storage technology. This role reports into the manager of the Test Software team. As part of this team, you will contribute to the development of rigorous test frameworks and safety compliance structures in close collaboration and partnership with our firmware, hardware and compliance teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission to decarbonize the grid!\nRelocation assistance is available. \nWhat you'll do:\nArchitect and execute test cases to secure UL1998 certification and to harden bootloaders.\n\nReview firmware implementations, and proactively identify testing optimizations early in the development lifecycle.\n\nDocument the linkages between safety requirements and test executions to generate compliance artifacts.\n\nWhat you'll bring:\n5+ years of experience in embedded software testing, firmware validation, or test systems development.\n\nDemonstrated experience successfully guiding safety-critical projects through the entire UL1998 certification lifecycle, showcasing an intimate knowledge of the standard’s requirements.\n\nTechnical proficiency navigating low-level firmware environments, reading embedded architectures, and developing test code using C and Python.\n\nExperience developing hardware test fixtures, instrumentation setups, and integrating physical components with automated test benches.\n\nExcellent communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical engineering deliverables across multi-functional teams.\n\n#LI-Onsite\nHumanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
