Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.\nRole Description\nWe are looking for a highly organized, execution-focused Supplier Operations Manager to serve as the primary program owner for one or more assigned hardware component suppliers. This role is accountable for end-to-end execution at the supplier level, spanning forecast management, capacity planning, data quality, and cross-functional coordination across all parts and commodities sourced from the account.\nThe SOM is the key liaison between Form's Global Supply Management team and assigned suppliers, partnering closely with Global Supply Managers (commodity owners), Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance. The SOM is the active operations resource ensuring supplier readiness, compliance, and performance as Form scales from NPI into volume production.\nRelocation assistance is available. This role requires travel up to 50% of the time. \nWhat you'll do:\nOwn end-to-end program execution for assigned supplier account(s), covering both new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining phases.\n\nServe as Form's primary operational point of contact for assigned suppliers; coordinate across all parts and commodities sourced from the account.\n\nPartner with Global Supply Managers to align commodity sourcing strategies with supplier-level execution plans and capacity commitments.\n\nManage supplier forecast submissions, order status, and capacity reviews; drive adherence to forecast and commitment cadences.\n\nOwn supplier-level data quality and process compliance, including lead times, order status, forecast accuracy, and standardized, high-quality reporting, including regularly refreshed Clear-To-Build (CTB) reports.\n\nLead regular supplier program forums, status reviews, and executive summaries with internal stakeholders and supplier leadership.\n\nCoordinate supplier business reviews (SBRs) and periodic performance assessments; track and escalate supplier-specific risks, shortages, and recovery plans.\n\nPartner with Engineering and Quality to support first article, change management (ECOs), and supplier corrective actions.\n\nCoordinate inbound logistics, expedites, and delivery performance with suppliers and internal planning/receiving teams.\n\nOnboard and train suppliers on Form's data systems, quality reporting, forecast processes, and program requirements.\n\nDrive resolution of cross-commodity supplier issues that span multiple internal owners.\n\nWhat you'll bring:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in supply chain operations, supplier management, or manufacturing; or a recent college graduate with internship experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nDemonstrated actions toward becoming a supply chain professional (e.g., coursework, APICS/ASCM or similar certification, relevant projects, or hands-on supply chain experience).\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders.\n\nAbility to travel up to 50% to supplier sites.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to translate between internal teams and supplier planning organizations.\n\nExperience with hardware supply chain operations, including forecast management, capacity planning, and supplier performance tracking.\n\nProficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel or equivalent data tools.\n\nPreferred:\nMaster's degree\n\nExposure to supplier operations, material planning, or manufacturing of mechanical, plastic, metal, or electromechanical components.\n\nFamiliarity with capacity planning and forecast / response-to-forecast processes.\n\nExperience coordinating across commodity managers and engineering in a matrixed organization.\n\nComfort working with overseas suppliers across time zones; additional languages a plus.\n\n#LI-Onsite\nHumanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
