In this Senior Software Engineering role, you’ll be…

• Accountable for feature execution end-to-end.

• A key technical sparring partner within the team, providing high-level feedback during code reviews and helping troubleshoot deep-seated technical issues.

• Collaborating across Engineering, Product, and Design to shape feature implementations and proactively resolve structural technical debt in our integration logic.

Who is the Connect Team?

The Connect Team bridges Formalize with our customers' broader tech ecosystems. We build and maintain our public APIs, design complex integration patterns, and engineer event-driven, logic-heavy workflows for seamless data exchange.

In doing so, we turn Formalize from a standalone software service into foundational compliance infrastructure, making compliance effortless across any tech stack and driving our vision to become Europe’s leading GRC platform.

What you’ll bring:

• Although we see ourselves as tech-agnostic, you ideally bring experience in at least one layer of our technical stack (we work with PHP and Angular), as well as general software architecture and system design.

• Demonstrated senior experience in a Software Engineering role, designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable systems in production, end-to-end.

• Experience in product development with a focus on quality, balancing business needs against scope creep to build features that directly move the product forward.

• Good engineering practices for testing, deployment, & observability.

• The ability to communicate trade-offs clearly, providing high-level feedback to colleagues and participating effectively in technical discovery.

• The ability to raise the bar for engineering quality and performance through reference implementations and by defining ever-evolving code standards.

We offer you:

• A starting salary of 62,000 DKK per month. As you grow within this role, your compensation can grow with you up to 72,000 DKK per month.
