FormativGroup is adding a Senior Solution Engineer to the growing team!\nThe Senior Solution Engineer is a senior individual contributor who partners with Account Executives, Industry SMEs, Alliance teams, and Delivery leaders to shape winning Salesforce transformation opportunities. This role bridges business process and technology by understanding how clients operate today, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing practical Salesforce solutions that create measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines strong consultative skills with deep Salesforce expertise and exercises sound judgment to balance business outcomes, user experience, implementation complexity, and long-term maintainability.\nWe're anticipating future openings and are connecting now with great talent who'd like to be considered when the time comes.\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to qualify opportunities, shape technical strategy, and support pursuit execution.\nLead discovery sessions to understand current-state business processes, user needs, operational challenges, and desired business outcomes.\nCollaborate with Industry SMEs to translate strategic business objectives into practical Salesforce solution approaches.\nAnalyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solution alternatives while clearly articulating business and technical tradeoffs.\nDesign scalable solution approaches leveraging Salesforce, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and modern integration patterns.\nDevelop compelling demonstrations, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and executive presentations tailored to client-specific business scenarios.\nPartner with sales leadership to develop technical win strategies and differentiate Formativ throughout the sales cycle.\nLead the technical portions of proposals, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and client presentations.\nWork closely with Delivery leaders and Solution Architects to ensure proposed solutions are practical, implementable, and aligned with delivery best practices.\nContribute to reusable demonstrations, reference architectures, solution assets, and presales collateral.\nCapture insights from customer engagements to help improve offerings, sales plays, and solution assets.\nMaintain current Salesforce certifications and continuously expand expertise in Salesforce AI capabilities and emerging platform technologies.\nQualifications\n7+ years in Solution Engineering, enterprise consulting, solution architecture, or a comparable customer-facing role.\nDemonstrated success supporting enterprise Salesforce transformation initiatives and complex consulting pursuits.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and integration patterns.\nAbility to analyze business processes and translate requirements into practical solution designs.\nOutstanding facilitation, presentation, communication, and executive engagement skills.\nStrong collaboration skills with Sales, Industry SMEs, Alliances, Delivery, and Executive Leadership.\nSalesforce certifications required or strongly preferred; AI and Data Cloud certifications are a plus.\nSuccess Profile\nConsultative and business-process oriented\nBalances business value with technical excellence\nExercises sound judgment and avoids unnecessary complexity\nExcellent communicator with executive presence\nCollaborative, curious, and team-oriented\nThrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial consulting environment\nCompensation\nThe Salesforce Solutions Engineer will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including base salary, variable incentive compensation, and benefits.\nLocation and Work Authorization\nThis is a remote role with potential periodic client travel. Candidates located in the Northeast United States are preferred.\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting.
