This role provides hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, talent management, HR operations, compliance, communications, workforce analytics, and organizational development. The intern will collaborate with HR professionals, business leaders, and employees to support programs, projects, and processes that enhance the employee experience, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and help drive business performance. Through meaningful contributions and exposure to strategic HR initiatives, the intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Human Resources partners with leaders to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with new hire onboarding activities, orientation scheduling, preparation of onboarding materials, and Day 1 coordination.\nSupport HR communications, including newsletters, policy updates, employee announcements, organizational change communications, and wellness initiatives.\nMaintain employee records and support data entry, reporting, and process administration within the HRIS and other HR systems.\nAssist with employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, surveys, and action planning activities.\nSupport talent management processes, including performance management cycles, talent reviews, succession planning activities, and career development initiatives.\nCoordinate compliance training activities and maintain training records to support regulatory and company requirements.\nCompile HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce analytics, and assist in identifying trends and insights to support business decisions.\nSupport organizational development and change management initiatives through research, communication planning, and project coordination.\nAssist with compensation and rewards projects, including market data analysis, incentive plan administration support, and employee recognition programs.\nSupport exit interview administration, survey analysis, and reporting on retention and attrition trends.\nParticipate in special projects related to employee experience, organizational effectiveness, process improvement, and HR best practices.\nManage general HR administrative tasks, including monitoring the HR inbox, responding to routine inquiries, coordinating documents, processing invoices, and supporting team operations.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and business leaders at all levels.\nDemonstrated professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.\nStrong organizational, project management, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is preferred.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative, learn quickly, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.\nInterest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.\nAvailability to work 20 to 30 hours per week in an office-based environment.\nLegal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nPreferred\nPrevious internship, campus leadership, volunteer, or work experience in HR, business, customer service, or administrative support.\nExperience working with data, reporting, surveys, or presentations.\nFamiliarity with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, or workforce analytics tools.\nDemonstrated leadership through student organizations, athletics, community involvement, or campus activities.\nCore Competencies & Skills\nEffective Communication and Relationship Building\nCollaboration and Teamwork\nBusiness Acumen and Curiosity\nCustomer Service and Employee Experience Orientation\nIntegrity, Confidentiality, and Professionalism\nOrganizational Effectiveness and Attention to Detail\nCritical Thinking and Problem Solving\nData Analysis and Insight Generation\nProject Coordination and Time Management\nAdaptability, Learning Agility, and Initiative\nProcess Improvement Mindset\nAccountability and Results Orientation\nDisclaimers: \nLegal authorization to work in the specified country is required.
