Join us for an exciting internship in the semiconductor industry!\nAs aFacilities Engineering Inter n at FormFactor, you will gain hands-on experience in maintaining, improving, and optimizing building systems and infrastructure. This internship provides hands-on experience with facility operations, engineering projects, preventive maintenance programs, utility systems, energy management, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis is a great opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in school and gain real-world skills.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nEngineering Support\nAssist Facilities Engineers with the operation and maintenance of critical building systems, including: Electrical distribution systems \nHVAC systems \nChilled water systems \nCompressed air systems \nPlumbing and water treatment systems \nEmergency backup power systems \nBuilding Automation Systems (BAS) \n\nProject Support\nParticipate in facility improvement and capital projects. \nAssist with engineering studies, data collection, and project documentation. \nSupport equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities. \nHelp track project schedules, budgets, and contractor activities. \nPreventive Maintenance & Reliability\nAssist with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. \nReview equipment maintenance records and identify opportunities for improvement. \nSupport root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and operational issues. \nParticipate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. \nData Analysis & Reporting\nCollect and analyze operational data from facility systems. \nDevelop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. \nMonitor utility consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities. \nAssist with trend analysis for equipment performance and reliability. \nSafety & Compliance\nSupport facility safety programs and environmental compliance initiatives. \nParticipate in safety inspections and audits. \nEnsure engineering activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations. \nAssist with development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs). \nDocumentation & Drawings\nUpdate engineering drawings, equipment records, and technical documentation. \nAssist with maintaining preventive maintenance procedures and asset databases. \nSupport document control processes for facility systems and projects. \nMinimum Requirements:\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelors degree in areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field \nInterest in the Semiconductor Industry \nMinimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA \nGraduation December 2026 or May 2027 \nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nExcellent verbal and written communication \nAbility to collaborate across teams and functions \nEffective time management and project delivery \nInitiative and drive for results in a fast-paced environment \nWhy Join Us?\nThis 12-week internship will provide you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with industry experts, and gain hands-on experience that will accelerate your future.\nSkills:\n.\nEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience | Required.\nFormFactor Benefits:\nBenefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nFormFactor is an equal opportunity employer.
