Whether it's improving products, supporting customers, or positively influencing peers and the community, the contributions of our people matter.\nShift:\nThe regular hours for this position are day shift.Job Description:\nThe LeadPayroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of multi-state U.S. payroll and related payroll activities under general supervision. This position supports payroll compliance, reporting, equity compensation transactions, expatriate payroll administration, and employee payroll inquiries while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and internal controls.\nMost work will be performed remotely; however, the expectation is that the specialist will be in the Beaverton office one day a week for two weeks out of the month.\nKey Responsibilities:\nExecute accurate biweekly payroll for all U.S. employees using ADP and UKG Pro, ensuring timely pay distribution and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.\n\nProcess and maintain payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, deductions, garnishments, and leave-related payroll impacts.\n\nAssist in detailed pre- and post-payroll audits and reconcile payroll registers, timesheets, benefit deductions, tax withholdings and correct discrepancies.\n\nCollaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, Stock Administration, Finance, and Timekeeping teams to validate payroll data and ensure accurate employee records.\n\nAdminister payroll-related activities for expatriate employees, including coordination of tax equalization, hypothetical tax deductions, shadow payroll requirements, and vendor-provided payroll adjustments.\n\nAssist in process and validate equity compensation transactions, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) events, ensuring proper taxation, withholding, reporting, and payroll integration.\n\nSupport payroll tax compliance activities and assist with payroll audits, year-end processing, and regulatory reporting requirements.\n\nServe as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, resolving pay discrepancies, tax withholding questions, garnishments, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.\n\nMaintain payroll procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), audit documentation, and process controls to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.\n\nAssist in payroll reports and provide payroll-related data and analysis to Finance, HR, and external auditors as requested.\n\nAssist with payroll system testing, upgrades, implementations, and special projects.\n\nJOB SKILLS\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of U.S. payroll processing practices and payroll compliance requirements.\n\nExperience administering payroll for expatriate employees, including coordination with external tax and payroll providers.\n\nWorking knowledge of RSU and ESPP taxation, payroll withholding requirements, and reporting.\n\nExperience with ADPWFNpayroll systemsrequired.\n\nExperience with UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management preferred.\n\nStrongproficiencyin Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting functions.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nHigh levelof accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability.\n\nAbility to quickly adapt to changing priorities, processes, and technologies.\n\nStrong organizational and recordkeeping skills.\n\nPerformance Skills\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills.\n\nAbility to gain cooperation and effectively collaborate across departments.\n\nAbility to work independently while exercising sound judgment within established authority limits.\n\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAbility tomaintainconfidentiality and handle sensitive payroll and employee information.\n\nWilling and able to work overtime as necessary to meet payroll deadlines, year-end requirements, and special project commitments.\n\nMaintainshigh standardsof professional, technical, and business conduct.\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nMinimum of 2-5 years of payroll processing experience.\n\nExperience processing multi-state payrollrequired.\n\nADPWFNpayroll software experiencerequired.\n\nUKGProexperience preferred.\n\nExperience supporting expatriate payroll administration preferred.\n\nExperience processing or supporting RSU and ESPP payroll transactions preferred.\n\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.\n\nSkills:\nADP Workforce Now, Analytical Problem Solving, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Confidentiality, Data Privacy, Detail-Oriented, Microsoft Excel, Payroll Processing, Payroll Reconciliation, Payroll ReviewEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience | RequiredPay Range:\n$21.90 - $28.77Pay Range Explained:\nThis role in Portland, Oregon pays between $21.90 and $28.77 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background.
