This position involves working with miniature electronic components, some smaller than a grain of rice, using microscopic and precision tools. Candidates should be comfortable performing detailed hand assembly and inspection work for extended periods. This role builds upon foundational operator capabilities and requires greater technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and ownership of production processes. This position helps maintain predictable production output and supports new process development alongside engineering teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssembly & Manufacturing\nAssemble and inspect complex products following detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures.\n\nPerform precision assembly activities involving miniature electronic and mechanical components.\n\nWork under microscope and with precision tools to complete assembly tasks.\n\nHandle sensitive components using ESD safe practices.\n\nMaintain productivity, quality and safety standards while meeting production schedules.\n\nInspection & Quality\nConduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.\n\nIdentify workmanship defects, assembly issues, and non-conforming conditions.\n\nDocument quality findings and support corrective actions.\n\nEnsure all work meets established quality standards.\n\nRework & Problem Resolution\nPerform approved rework and corrective actions following established procedures.\n\nEscalate complex issues to technicians, engineers, leads or supervisors.\n\nSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring assembly issues.\n\nTraining, Leadership & Team Support\nMentor and assist in training Manufacturing Operator I team members on processes, equipment, and best practices.\n\nSupport team leads in coordinating workflow, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are prepared for daily operations.\n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\n\nContribute to a positive, collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting cross-functional teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to perform repetitive precision work with strong attention to details.\n\nStrong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.\n\nAbility to read and follow detailed instructions.\n\nExperience working under microscopes.\n\nExperience in electronics assembly, SMT manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, aerospace assembly, or similar precision manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience handling small electronic or mechanical components.\n\nFamiliarity with ESD practices.\n\nExperience performing visual inspections using magnification equipment.\n\nBasic soldering experience a plus.\n\nIPC certification is a plus but not required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform intermediate level tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.\n\nStrong understanding of quality standards, documentation, and safety protocols.\n\nMust follow all required safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.\n\nSolid mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision tools, gauges, and basic test equipment.\n\nPrior experience mentoring or training team members.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, sit, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods.\n\nUse of microscopes, precision instruments, and calibrated tools as required.\n\nMust follow all required safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE and clean-room attire (full coverall suit, hairnet, mask, gloves, etc.) for extended periods of time.\n\nMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs.\n\nShift Options:\nFB A: 7 am- 7:15pm- Wk1 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
