You will receive a 10% shift differential.Job Description:\nThe Quality Assurance Technician 2 is responsible for performing detailed in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications. This role applies advanced inspection techniques, supports defect investigations, and partners closely with Engineering and Operations to maintain product quality in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The position operates with moderate autonomy and contributes to continuous quality improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nUtilize Olympus MX-50 microscopes and other precision inspection tools to perform defect inspections on advanced probing technology products.\n\nConduct in-process and finished goods inspections to ensure materials and products meet quality and customer requirements.\n\nIdentify, document, and generate reports for nonconforming materials or products.\n\nCoordinate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and support corrective actions.\n\nValidate outgoing product data for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications, update inspection results and inventory records in quality systems.\n\nCapture and document inspection images for analysis, traceability, and reporting\n\nPerform data entry and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.\n\nUse hand tools to assemble, inspect, and adjust mechanical assemblies as required.\n\nWork collaboratively within a shift-based team environment, while also performing as an individual contributor to meet daily inspection and production targets.\n\nSupport operations and engineering activities as needed to meet quality and delivery commitments.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements:\nRole may involve frequent standing, repetitive hand motions, and handling small or delicate components.\n\nWork performed primarily in a clean-room manufacturing setting, requiring adherence to gowning and contamination-control procedures.\n\nMay require exposure to chemicals, specialty tools, microscopes, or precision measurement equipment.\n\nMust follow all required safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE and clean-room attire (full coverall suit, hairnet, mask, gloves, etc.) for extended periods of time.\n\nMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs.\n\nSkills:\nFollowing Instructions, Hand Tools, Inspection Equipment, Manufacturing Quality Assurance, Microsoft Office, Operating Microscopes, Probe Cards, Semiconductor ManufacturingEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience.
