Whether it's improving products, supporting customers, or positively influencing peers and the community, the contributions of our people matter.\nShift:\nThe regular hours for this position are day shift.Job Description:\nThe Sr Manager, Procurement Sourcing is responsible for leading sourcing execution and supplier management for critical materials, components, and services supporting semiconductor and probe card manufacturing operations.\nThis role works in conjunction with procurement professionals and/or category owners, executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and driving alternate sourcing capability, ramp and volume availability as well as supporting cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity outcomes. The position operates at global level, translating broader procurement strategy into execution plans and contributing input related to supplier risks, cost drivers, and short- to mid-term supply planning horizons.\nThis role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Procurement and Planning to ensure supplier capability, material availability, and alignment with manufacturing requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCategory Sourcing & Execution\nExecute sourcing strategies for assigned categories (e.g., precision machined components, advanced materials, MEMS-related inputs, capital equipment, or indirect spend). \nLead component and commodity qualification events in collaboration with engineer to establish adequate supply and capable suppliers and materials. \nSupport contract negotiation, pricing alignment, and commercial terms execution in conjunction with procurement. \nIdentify and implement cost savings and value engineering opportunities aligned with total cost of ownership (TCO). \nSupplier & Supply Chain Management\nDevelop and manage supplier relationships within assigned categories, including strategic and high-risk suppliers. \nMonitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost) and drive corrective actions as needed in collaboration with procurement. \nSupport supplier segmentation and risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity. \nPartner with Quality and Engineering on supplier qualification, capability validation, and issue resolution. \nSemiconductor / Probe Card Manufacturing Support\nAlign sourcing execution with probe card and systems manufacturing requirements across wafer fab, MEMS processing, assembly, and test. \nEnsure availability of critical materials such as specialty metals, ceramics, substrates, and precision machined components. \nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes (ECOs), and production ramp readiness. \nCoordinate with planning and operations to prevent shortages and mitigate supply disruptions. \nCost, Performance & Operational Excellence\nDrive cost reduction, supplier performance improvements, and working capital optimization within assigned categories. \nTrack and report procurement KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, supply continuity metrics). \nSupport implementation of procurement best practices, analytics, and process improvements. \nUtilize ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools to inform sourcing decisions. \nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, and Logistics to align sourcing with production and business needs. \nSupport NPI, capacity expansion, and supply readiness initiatives. \nProvide input on supplier risks, cost drivers, and market dynamics affecting assigned categories.\nPeople Leadership & Team Development\nLead and develop a team of buyers, sourcing specialists, or category managers. \nEstablish performance expectation and provide feedback for cross functional team members.\nBuild team capability in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and analytics. \nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSkills:\nCategory Management, Change Management, Continuous Improvement, Contract Negotiations, Cost Optimization, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Analysis, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Inventory Planning, Manufacturing Supply Chain, Materials Procurement, MRP Systems, New Product Introduction (NPI), Precision Manufacturing, Probe Cards, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Management, Supplier Performance Management (PM), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).\nEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent work experience | Required.\nFormFactor Benefits:\nBenefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nFormFactor is an equal opportunity employer.
