The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through comprehensive testing activities, process improvements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a passion for quality and customer satisfaction, helping to deliver high-quality software products that meet business and user requirements.\nKey Responsibilities: \nSoftware Quality Assurance & Testing\nQuality Assurance Activities\nDevelop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify software defects.\nAnalyze test results and provide clear recommendations for product improvements.\nValidate bug fixes and ensure resolution quality.\nTest Automatio n\nDesign and implement automated test solutions.\nMaintain and improve automated test frameworks.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nMonitor automation results and troubleshoot failures.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, and mechanical Engineers\nParticipate in requirements reviews, design reviews, and sprint activities.\nProvide quality risk assessments during project planning.\nAdvocate for quality best practices across the development lifecycle.\nProcess Improvement\nContribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies and standards.\nHelp define test strategies and quality metrics.\nSupport root cause analysis activities for production issues.\nPromote shift-left testing and quality engineering practices.\nKey Competencies:\nAttention to Detail\nCritical Thinking\nCustomer Focus with Willingness to travel\nTeamwork and Collaboration\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\nTechnical Curiosity\nEffective Communication\nAccountability and Ownership\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience:\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.\nExperience creating and executing test plans and test cases.\nExperience with defect tracking and test management tools.\nKnowledge of API, and backend testing.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, C#.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins.\nISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.\nExperience in performance or reliability testing.\nSkills:\nC# Software Development, Python (Programming Language), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodologies, Test Management ToolsEducation & Experience:\nMinimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience | RequiredPay Range:\n$115,800.00 - $151,935.00Pay Range Explained:\nThis role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $115,800.00 and $151,935.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
