If you’re ready to shape the future of fabrication, come build it with us.\nYour Impact:\nAs an FP&A Analyst, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the business to bring analytical rigor and clear financial insight to our operations. You’ll be a financial business partner to executives, own the financial model behind our inventory & COGS, drive automated reporting using SQL, develop gross margin and pricing recommendations across our printers, consumables, and services, and support corporate Treasury operations to keep our global subsidiaries well-funded. It’s a hands-on role with broad exposure across the company - ideal for someone who wants to deeply understand how products are designed, built, and brought to market.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPartner directly with executive leaders across the company to monitor performance-to-budget across all programs.\nBuild and maintain long-term inventory and COGS forecasts grounded in unit economics and go-to-market assumptions for new products in the pipeline.\nAnalyze and forecast gross margin by product line - tracking BOM costs, manufacturing variances, and mix effects - and develop pricing recommendations for both new launches and existing SKUs.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards and reporting (Looker, SQL) that give leadership real-time visibility into spend, headcount, and program health.\nPrepare monthly and quarterly financial packages for the CFO and executive team, including commentary on key drivers and risks.\nSupport Treasury functions including subsidiary funding, intercompany transactions, cash management, and FX exposure tracking across Formlabs’ global entities.\nDrive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, models, and systems (NetSuite, Looker, planning tools) to scale with the business.\nAbout You:\n1-4 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience; prior roles as an FP&A Analyst, Senior Analyst, or Finance Business Partner preferred.\nDemonstrated knowledge or experience in a hardware-oriented company (e.g., 3D printing, robotics, semiconductors, consumer electronics, industrial equipment, medical devices), with a working understanding of physical product economics: BOM, COGS, tooling, and NPI cycles.\n Hands-on experience with gross margin analysis, cost modeling and accounting.\nStrong technical proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred), SQL, and BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar).\nStrong communicator who can translate complex financial data into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.\nHigh ownership mentality - comfortable operating with ambiguity and proactively identifying problems before being asked.\nDetail-oriented with strong modeling discipline, but able to zoom out and think strategically about the big picture.\nCollaborative and low-ego; thrives in cross-functional settings with engineering and product teams.\nBonus Skills:\nBackground in data analytics, investment banking, or Big 4 transaction advisory.\nIntellectual curiosity about how products are designed, built, and brought to market - tinkerers and makers welcome.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, scaling environment where processes are still being built and refined.\nOur Benefits & Perks:\nRobust equity program to build future wealth through RSUs\nComprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)\n401K matching and access to financial advisors\nGenerous paid Parental Leave (up to 16 weeks)\nTenure-based paid Sabbatical Leave (up to 6 weeks)\nFlexible Out of Office Plan - Take time when you need it\nAmple on-site parking & pre-tax commuter benefits\nHealthy on-site lunches, snacks, beverages, & treats\nRegular sponsored professional development opportunities\nMany opt-in culture events across our diverse community\nAnd of course… unlimited 3D prints\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
