You'll design and build the software powering our Form Now website and production line, solve complex technical problems, and play a key role in launching a new class of 3D printing at scale.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDevelop and implement core software features for the Form Now print-on-demand service.\nArchitect and build the next generation of factory software, including our custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES).\nCreate robust backend code using Python/Django, and user-facing frontend code with Next.js and React.js.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with factory operators, product managers, and leadership to define and deliver new features and integrations.\nTake full ownership of your projects, from initial scoping and development to testing, implementation, and ongoing support.\nMaintain and improve our existing codebase, ensuring reliability and scalability in a production environment.\nAbout You:\nYou have a proven track record as a Full-stack Web Developer with experience in a production environment.\nYou are an entrepreneurial and flexible problem-solver, comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, agile development environment.\nYou work autonomously, moving quickly from idea to implementation, and aren’t afraid to experiment, iterate, and refine solutions based on what you learn.\nYou enjoy taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion.\nYou possess strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nYou are willing to work on-site in Billerica, MA as needed to test, debug, and release factory software.\nBonus Skills: \nExperience with 3D models, processing, or analysis.\nExperience with web development in a mixed local/cloud hybrid setup.\nBackground working with hardware or equipment, or an appreciation for the bridge between software and the physical world.\nExposure to DevOps and CI/CD.\nFamiliarity with data engineering and dashboarding tools.\nCurious what it’s like to build software at Formlabs?
