Per-PR and nightly measurement of the defined KPIs (startup, upload, print generation, crash rate) in CI, with alerting on regression. This is the enforcement mechanism for the PreForm performance initiative.\nSystemtest re-architecture on the PreForm Local API. Rebuild the systemtest layer to drive end-to-end scenarios headlessly through PreForm Server, in alignment with the API team.\nCustomer-file corpus testing. Build and own a pipeline that runs large batches of real customer models through slicing and support generation and diffs results against baselines - catching regressions on the geometry customers actually print, at a scale manual testing cannot reach.\nCrash intelligence. Own Sentry triage, trending, and root-cause attribution; build crash-reproduction harnesses so engineers fix rather than investigate.\nTest infrastructure stewardship. Print regression baselines, CI flake, test runtimes, golden-file management - owned as a product instead of taxing feature engineers.\nYou:\n C++ proficiency. Able to write integration and system tests against PreForm internals and understand what they exercise (mesh operations, print file generation, slicing output). Not necessarily a geometry expert; not afraid of the codebase.\nPython for tooling and harnesses. Corpus pipelines, API-driven test drivers, result diffing and reporting.\nCI and automation depth. Jenkins, test parallelization, flake management, baseline/golden-file testing strategies.\nObservability instinct. Sentry, Amplitude, crash and performance dashboards. Treats 'is this release healthy' as a data question.\n Desktop application testing experience (strong plus). GUI automation on Windows/macOS (Squish or Qt Test-based harnesses)\nSeniority: mid-to-senior IC. Senior enough to define the test strategy independently; hands-on enough to build it.
