You’ll work with our suppliers face-to-face to expand the capabilities of Formlabs and directly improve our products. If a passion for streamlining and optimization inspires you, we want you as a Supplier Industrialization Engineer!\nWhat You’ll Do:\nWork directly with R&D to identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions\nOwn a PFEP (Plan for every part) in an NPI BOM - Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution to secure optimal value, quality, and risk mitigation\nFacilitate communication of technical requirements between Suppliers and Formlabs R&D team\nProactively research new manufacturing technologies or market intelligence to create robust supply chain strategies. \nIdentify supply risks, leads negotiations, and drives continuous improvement in supplier performance and sourcing processes\nAccountable for leading, tracking and working with R&D to lead supplier manufacturing process development and launch readiness for new products and design changes]\nOwn for cost modeling & cost estimation work of new products \nWork directly with our suppliers and contract manufacturers to source and procure material in time for NPI builds\nMaintain clear-to-build reports ahead of NPI builds and provide senior leadership updates on material availability, schedule, and program cost\nAbout You:\n1-5 years post graduate experience working in a strategic sourcing,manufacturing, or supplier quality engineering role\nDegree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience\nAble to travel internationally (up to 20%) to visit suppliers for quality audits, QBRs, and relationship building\nExcellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills\nExperience developing process quality plans, supplier quality audits, and driving yield improvements\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T\nHigh attention to detail and skills in data analysis \nAn independent worker and team player who is excited to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams\nBonus Skills: \n3D CAD design, particularly Solidworks\n2+ years experience with electronics and reading schematics\nAdvanced use of spreadsheets\nOur Perks & Benefits:\nRobust equity program to build future wealth through RSUs\nComprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)\nLow cost fund options in our 401K and access to advisors \nGenerous paid Parental Leave (up to 16 weeks)\nTenure-based paid Sabbatical Leave (up to 6 weeks)\nFlexible Out of Office Plan - Take time when you need it\nAmple on-site parking & pre-tax commuter benefits\nHealthy on-site lunches, snacks, beverages, & treats\nRegular sponsored professional development opportunities\nMany opt-in culture events across our diverse community\nAnd of course… unlimited 3D prints\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
