About Formula E:

Formula E, the world's fastest-growing sport, is redefining motorsport with a bold focus on innovation and sustainability.

Hosting over 150 races in iconic cities globally and backed by top manufacturers like Porsche, Nissan and Jaguar, we feature elite drivers and cutting-edge EV technology.

As the world's first certified B Corp sport and the first sport certified to the British Standards Institution (BSI) Net Zero Pathway. Formula E combines thrilling entertainment with a mission to advance sustainable progress, inspiring a global fanbase with our high-performance brand new GEN4 car capable of hitting speeds of 335kph and reaching 200kph in just 4.4 seconds. Currently achieving 0-100 kmh in 1.8 seconds.

Using the spectacle of sport, we are sending a powerful and meaningful message to help alter perceptions and speed-up the switch to electric mobility.

  • Technical Project Leadership & Innovation: Scope, develop, and implement advanced off-season technology initiatives, focusing specifically on High Dynamic Range (HDR) workflows, enhanced audio configurations, and emerging tools such as automated Team Radio transcription systems.

  • Internal Test Programmes: Take responsibility for the technology deployment for the Formula E Test Programme, managing the deployed technology team in rotation with the Senior Broadcast Engineer and servicing equipment outside of testing events.

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Serve as the vital technical and operational conduit between external production companies, internal Technology teams, third-party contractors, and the wider Formula E ecosystem.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience: Proven experience working within broadcast teams at Tier 1 sports or sporting federations, delivering global sporting events across multi-functional teams, and working on large-scale remote productions (REMI).

  • Technical Capabilities: Practical competency in remote production workflows, central hub facilities, and live host broadcast infrastructure. Strong resource management skills to resolve issues for localized multi-language feeds under tight deadlines.

  • Future-Focused Skills: Aptitude for learning and applying next-generation broadcast innovations (HDR, enhanced audio, AI transcription tools) and pre-planning remote technical requirements for future race locations.

  • Mindset & Personal Qualities: A growth-minded professional who is eager to learn and adapt from senior engineers. You are calm under pressure, highly collaborative, flexible in rotating between remote hub operations and trackside deployment, and proactive in taking ownership of key projects.
