These services include providing benefits through innovative life and health insurance plans, financial services, and customized insurance products for niche markets.\nPosition Summary\nThe Manager of Data & Integration is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple cross-functional teams, including the FAST Team (production support), Data Team, and Integration Team. This role ensures the successful delivery of technology initiatives, operational support, and business solutions aligned with organizational priorities. The manager will drive team performance, foster collaboration across business units, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards in development, integration, and project execution. The Manager will balance technical leadership, people management, and strategic alignment with business objectives.\nExpectations\nManage data quality, integrity, standards, documentation, and governance in partnership with business and technology teams\nLead integration, API, and data pipeline practices to ensure reliability, documentation, monitoring, and adherence to enterprise standards\nProvide direct leadership and oversight for all team members, including collaboration with PM(s)/BA(s)/Technical Leads\nEnsure consistent, high-quality delivery of projects, enhancements, and operational support across all assigned teams.\nConfirm resources are working on the correct tickets/projects based on priority\nEncourage PM/BA involvement as necessary\nAttend all pertinent meetings to foster collaboration between the PM, BA, QA and developers to resolve issues efficiently and deliver work in a timely manner\nWork with Sr. Manager of Project Delivery on any outstanding issues and to ensure correct prioritization of projects and tickets\nFollow up as necessary to resolve outstanding items\nResearch any issues relating to the teams as necessary\nInfrastructure/Architecture/Standards\nWork with Architecture team, Infrastructure, and Application Administrators on Azure configuration issues that affect the whole team including alignment with standards\nEnforce development, integration, and project delivery standards, including code quality, documentation, and testing practices\nCollaborate with Infrastructure on requests for new software/hardware\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify areas for improvement, work with team to discuss next steps\nReduce technical debt\nPerform RCA for groups of similar tickets\nEnsure SNOW tickets are going to the correct team\nProvide regular status updates, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.\nSupport budgeting, vendor engagement, and contract oversight as needed.\nCompetencies\nLead, mentor, and develop diverse technical teams while fostering accountability and high performance in a growth-oriented culture.\nManages performance through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and career development planning. \nEnsure team members are appropriately cross trained to reduce likelihood of knowledge gaps.\nAligns team efforts with broader organizational goals and long-term technology strategy.\nAbility to manage the pressure of multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.\nDemonstrates clear, concise communication tailored to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership. assigned and required\nExperience with the Insurance industry is a plus\nRequisites\nDemonstrated experience leading technical teams responsible for data, system integration, or enterprise technology solutions\nWorking knowledge of enterprise data management, integration patterns, APIs, ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and modern data platforms\n5-7 years of hands-on software development experience in modern languages and frameworks\n2-4 years of SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)\n2-4 years of Power BI\nDemonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead small initiatives, or act as a team lead\nExcellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as executive leadership\nGeneral knowledge of SCRUM
