Join us and build an extraordinary future.\nAbout This Role:\nThe Research Associate is part of Forrester’s Consumer & Digital Services research organization and works with a team of analysts to equip CX, B2C, and Digital leaders and business professionals in evolving their initiatives and strategy through primary research, technology and business analysis, actionable reports, and client advisory. Clients work with Forrester to inform and accelerate their strategic decisions, understand software market trends, and compare their strategy with industry best practices.\nThe Research Associate plays a key role supporting the team’s analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory materials. The successful candidate will report to a research operations manager and will support four analysts.\nJob Description:\nManage research projects by working with assigned analysts, formulating a project plan, establishing a check-in process, coordinating research, and managing schedule.\nAssist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports, including qualitative interviews, online surveys, quantitative analysis, and internal and third-party data.\nSupport analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and a slide sequence that tells a story.\nMaintain the report production schedule, from inception through publication.\nConduct quantitative work with Forrester’s datasets.\nAssist in collecting and analyzing team performance metrics through data dashboards.\nCoordinate the use of social media platforms (e.g., blogs, Twitter, and online community) in the research and publishing process.\nProvide exceptional client engagement support for analysts during client guidance sessions, helping to prepare for sessions and capturing notes and action items.\nJob Requirements:\nA BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.\nOne to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.\nA working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.\nExcellent project management and organizational skills.\nInterest in consumer marketing or industry specific knowledge of retail, financial services, or healthcare is a plus.\nThe ability to write precisely, logically, and professionally.\nAttention to detail and the ability to build reusable resources such as survey questions and formatted data outputs.\nWillingness to actively engage intellectually with colleagues, including more senior colleagues such as analysts.\nEnthusiasm to learn about technology and its impact on business and society.\nThe ability to multitask and work independently with a team under tight deadlines.\nPlease note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing.
