This is a high-leverage individual contributor role where you will work towards the direction for large-scale networking and control plane systems, drive cross-organizational technical strategy, and raise the engineering bar across multiple teams. You will operate at the intersection of deep hands-on engineering within the software division of Fortaegis We are looking for candidates with not only an exceptional skillset, but also an exceptional mindset, willing to go above and beyond to make our breakthrough product even better.\nJob requirements\n12+ years of hands-on experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or telecom networking, with a track record of staff-level or equivalent impact.\n\nDeep expertise in routing protocols TCP/IP, QoS, DHCP, and data center / cloud networking architectures.\n\nStrong backend engineering skills in Rust/Go with production-grade distributed systems experience.\n\nProven ability to design systems processing PB-scale data with multi-tenant isolation and high availability.\n\nProficiency with Kubernetes, Docker and at least one major cloud platform (OCI, AWS, or equivalent).\n\nDeep understanding of low-level systems: packet processing, hardware interaction and control plane ↔ data plane optimization.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication -
