This role delivers Tier 2 security support, investigates security incidents, and supports ongoing security operations, awareness, and compliance initiatives.\nWhat You Will be Doing:\nSecurity Operations & Incident Response\nMonitor and respond to alerts from MDR, IDS, DLP, EDR, and email security platforms\nInvestigate and remediate phishing, malware, and security incidents\nMaintain and improve secure email and web gateway controls\nProvide Tier 2 security escalation support and incident resolution\nVulnerability & Endpoint Management\nReview vulnerability scans and penetration test results\nCoordinate remediation and patching with Systems Administrators\nParticipate in the organization’s vulnerability management program\nMaintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities\nIdentity & Access Management\nSupport MFA and zero trust identity solutions\nAssist with password management tools and access reviews\nPerform quarterly terminated user audits and annual access reviews\nSecure shared and privileged account credentials\nSecurity Awareness & Training\nConduct quarterly phishing simulations\nDeliver security awareness campaigns and new hire training\nEducate employees on security best practices and emerging threats\nProjects, Policies & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in IT and cross functional security projects\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and standards\nRecommend updates to security policies, procedures, and controls\nCreate and maintain security documentation and knowledge base content\nCustomer Focus\nDeliver timely, professional, and customer focused security support to internal and external stakeholders\nCommunicate clearly and effectively regarding security issues, risks, and remediation steps\nPartner with business units and customers to understand requirements and align security solutions accordingly\nMaintain a service-oriented mindset while balancing security risk and operational needs\nCommunication & Reporting\nDocument security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities in accordance with organizational procedures\nPrepare clear, accurate reports and summaries peer documentation reviews\nWhat You Bring to Assure Success:\nExperience with Secure Email Gateways, Secure Web Gateways, EDR, and SIEM tools\nExperience with Security Awareness Training and Privileged Access technologies\nExperience with Microsoft Defender\nHands on experience administering and monitoring Microsoft Defender XDR and related Microsoft security products to identify, investigate, and remediate security threats across endpoints, identities, email, and cloud workloads\nExperience with vulnerability scanning \nKnowledge of CIS and NIST frameworks\nExperience administering Microsoft and Cisco Systems\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SSL, OSI, and TCP/IP\nAbility to explain complex concepts in simple terms\nCISSP, ISC², ISACA, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent industry certifications preferred but not
